Fell into this great read by Emily Howard, Managing Editor at the Madison Record, Madison, Alabama, looking for something else.  Her column, “The similarities between politicians and toddlers” is very eye opening. 

Below is the last paragraph and I admit stealing the last line of the column for the title to this post.

It amazes me that politicians can deny saying things that they are caught on camera saying. Whether it is a muddily-slung racial comment, a past Senate vote, or past stand on an issue, they can deny themselves blue in the face.
