Blog Reminder: The SOTD will discontinue on July 1st.
Today is my old girlfriend Kim’s Birthday - “Happy Birthday Darling“! We don’t get to see much of each other anymore and harldy converse. Our lives seperated several years ago, yet we do the birthday cards and have seen each other on occassion when we visit our respective towns. I sent her one of those new musical cards I’m sure you’ve seen. They are great cards, but ain’t cheap on the postage.
Newspeople are really sick. This is the headline from the AP story via the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer’s website surrounding Chris Benoit: “Wrestler and wife argued over care of retarded 7-year-old son in days before murder-suicide“. Naturally you think, “OMG, this horrible monstor on steriods who wrestlers for a living murdered his son because he is ill!!!” Of course that’s the reaction they wanted. However, if you are brighter than the average bear and read the story you understand their son’s education was just one issue they were struggling with. Yet the AP does its level best to make Chris out to be more a monstor than what we already think; tugging at our heart strings with the child’s situation. Many parents have difficult decisions to make regarding their children, so to insinuate that the Benoit’s had more trouble than most is rotten.
Read this and tell me if you can find out where they tell you how the boy is doing after his wild ride. Seems the reporter is more concerned about the property damage to me.
Have a great day!

Spare the rod, Broil the child
That classroom must have become like an oven after fifteen minutes. Did school officials need to use Easy Off afterwards?
