Jo's Cafe

At around 2 pm today we are going to be welcoming Summer.  But if you live in the south, its “felt” like summer for some time now.  

We were told here in Alabama that our electricity rates were going up.  Seems the commission snuck this one in on us when we weren’t looking.   Oh well – I’m not surprised, just going to have to be more careful with how we use it.   As we settled in to watch AFI’s 100 Best Movies last night, the power went out.  Actually it went out and then flickered on and off several times.  Some one had hit a pole down by the sub-station and that’s what knocked it out.   It finally came back on an hour or so later and we got to finish watching the show.   BUT – I set my alarm wrong, so I’m up late and have to get moving now.
