Jo’s Cafe

Our local police department has arrested one of their own.  A 23-yr serviced officer for trafficking in cociane.   Hubby asked if I knew him, but I don’t.  I remember his name from when I worked there myself, but that’s all.  This hurts down to the foundation of what a police department is.  Some will be embarassed, some will be angry; but they all will take the harassment by the stupid citizenary that cannot seperate one bad apple from the whole. 

Devil Dog’s (Hello Iraq) mom is in the hospital, in need of by-pass surgery it seems.  Let’s remember her and the whole family in our prayers while they go through this.

PJM Barcelona posted a link to a Wired article in regard to turning your computer and daily tasks over to Google Apps.  Now I use Google and they are a powerful search engine, but…  You read the article and see what you think.  I like the “web based” desk-top idea, just not sure if I like the idea of turning it over to the guys at Google.   

For simple searches, try Blingo - cause one day we could win.
