I don’t have the hours in the day to post about a lot things that hit me from the news, so let’s see what struck me this week.
Britney -
Leave the girl alone. If you have never fought an addiction, and fortunately I haven’t but have dealt with people who have, you shouldn’t be saying anything about her crash. Rick at Right Wing Nut House says it best here. Let her heal. Let her regain her life. Leave her the hell alone.
Anna Nicole -
I can’t go any further without mentioning the wall-to-wall news coverage on this. A female guest on Fox N’ Friends asked Tuesday morning, “When will this all stop?” It will all stop when the news media stops reporting it. As long as you guys keep this as a “top news story,” it won’t stop. Bury the women already. She’s not here anymore anyway. She’s moved on to her final stop with God. Give us all a break and STOP already.
Al Gore -
So the big fat hypocrite of the far left won an award for a lie. Should we be at all surprised? Typical Left - ”Do as I Say, Not as I Do.”
Nutritional Labels on Restaurant Menus -
As a Type II Diabetic, I can get behind this one.
An advocacy group that once lobbied for mandatory nutrition labels for groceries has set it sights on restaurant chains and is asking the federal government to require large chains to offer calorie, fat and sodium information on menus.
VP in Afghanistan -
The only reason anyone heard about the suicide bomber outside of the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan this week was because our Vice President was there. If he had been in Kabul already, we’d've never heard about it. Oh and did you hear about the sickies at “The Huffington Post” wishing for his death? Me thinks prayer for these poor people is in order.
