Steve Who?

Friday, 20 January 2006, 6:24

After getting out of a “mandatory” class yesterday at work, I pulled up Sean Hannity’s radio show. They were finishing up the “Man on the Street Thursday” segment.

Sean was evidently asking hard hitting questions like “Who is the Vice President?” and tough stuff like that.

This one gal was asked by Sean:

“Who is Samuel Alito?”

Gal: “I don’t know.”

Sean: “Who is Condoleeza Rice?”

Gal: “Oh, that’s the black women that works in the white house.” (paraphrased, don’t know her exact words)

Sean: “Who is the Vice President of the United States?”

Gal: “Dick Cheney.”

Sean: “Who is the President of the United States?”

Gal: “Bush”

Sean: “Who ran against President Bush and Vice President Cheney in the last election?”

Gal: “I don’t know his last name, but it was Steve, and I voted for him.”

Sean: “Steve? What was his last name again?”

Gal: “I don’t know — but I voted for him — Steve.”

Sean: “Why did you vote for Steve?”

Gal: “Because anyone but Bush and I’m a democrat, so I voted for Steve.”

They sent her on her way after thanking her nicely.

Steve who?

The real question is: “Would you buy a President from this woman?”

So how long before the DNC calls for a recount and demands that all votes for ‘Steve’ go to Kerry? He woulda won in Florida if the ballots didn’t all say ‘Steve’.
