Thursday ACLU Blog Burst

June 30th, 2005 · 3 Comments · ACLU

I have to confess, I have nothing ready for today But I do get Goggle Alerts on ACLU stories, so I’m going to post some here.

Remember - the ACLU does NOT stand for Americans, but for everyone but.

Visit Stop the ACLU! and go through the Blogroll to find some (I’m sure) great posts for today.

On to the stories:

ACLU Defends Polygamy, Further Eroding Traditional Marriage

In comments at an Ivy League school, the president of the American Civil Liberties Union has indicated that among the “fundamental rights” of people is the right to polygamous relationships — and that the ACLU has defended and will continue to defend that right.

Tyranny rears its ugly head again

Our Supreme Court has ignored our Constitution, usurped the powers of the people and thumbed their noses at our senators and congressmen, many of whom, like little yellow butterflies, tremble in fear of those judges and their motivator, the ACLU (Anti-Christian Liberty Ulcer.)

    Lunch: 6/30/2005

Try one of these specials with your lunch: Andrew McCarthy says it’s all about 9/11. [via Sailor in the Desert] Baldilocks says someone is nuts. Harvey (Bad Example version) finds some unlikely allies in the War on Terror. Balance Sheet
