As I mentioned in my WeekEND Wrap, Al Sharpton was part and parcel to the denial of Rush Limbaugh bid to be part owner of an NFL Team.  (Wonder how Micheal “I fight dogs” Vick felt about that?)

Rush was asked by the The Wall Street Journal for an op-ed on the events of the last week and being Rush, he provided.  In his op-ed  Rush mentioned Sharpton’s involvement in the Tawana Brawley incident in NY, and Jackson’s racist’s comment “Hymitown”.   

Now ol’ Al is going to do what he does best – sue Rush for defamation.

When you stop laughing – its not a joke.  This hate-filled man for all that is white and/or conservative is going to sue someone for telling the truth.  Sharpton was found guilty of defamation in the Tawana Brawley case … so what is he going to sue for?

This sounds like the typical reaction of Sharpton and his ilk.  

Get out the popcorn, this is going to be fun folks.

Wow … I was in my twenty’s when you started changing the way people listen to radio and think about politics.  No, I didn’t listen all the time at first and it was at a time when I was deciding what I believed politically and life in general. 

You may hate him, you may love him, you may have lost radios being mad at something he said, but Rush has been so right on a lot of things its scary. 

Are we sure he doesn’t have a crystal ball somewhere stuck under his puter desk?

The man makes us think.

That has been his job for 20 years and has done it well.  

How many people have said over the years that he will fail and he hasn’t.

When he struggled with life’s road blocks, the left celebrated to the point of pants wetting in public and then anger when he returned, stronger then ever. 

Thank you Rush for being there for us and with us.

Signing into Rush this morning, I see the banner “House Democrats Prepare to Introduce Resolution Castigating Rush Limbaugh on House Floor Monday” which leads to The Influence Peddler blog and the accompanying post.

House Democrats are apparently considering a resolution to castigate Rush Limbaugh for having the nerve to allege that there are ‘phony soldiers’ bragging about their exploits in Iraq. As long as they’re at it, perhaps they’ll actually denounce the phony soldiers. Fact is, there are thousands of ‘phony soldiers’ nationwide; the problem is so great that Congress passed legislation to crack down on the epidemic. Jesse MacBeth is just the tip of the iceberg.

Who is Jesse MacBeth?  Hmmm, let’s let Michelle Malkin explain.

As usual, the left moon-battery has gone off the chart.  Their little pinheads are spinning their tin foil hats at warp speed because Rush dared to speak about the “phony soliders” (ie: the Jesse MacBeths).

And they have the balls to send John “I was in Vietenam” Kerry out there to attack Rush Limbaugh.

“This disgusting attack from Rush Limbaugh, cheerleader for the chicken-hawk wing of the far right, is an insult to American troops,” Kerry said. “Mr. Limbaugh owes an apology to everyone who has ever worn the uniform of our country, and an apology to the families of every soldier buried in Arlington National Cemetery.”

Mr. Kerry – YOU are more of an insult to the soliders than Rush Limbaugh ever thought of being – and he’s never thought of it you bonehead liberal lemmie!  You who said this about our “real” soldiers:

“Kerry then told the students that if they were able to navigate the education system, they could get comfortable jobs – ‘If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq,’ he said to a mixture of laughter and gasps.”

I would like to talk, representing all those veterans, and say that several months ago in Detroit, we had an investigation at which over 150 honorably discharged and many very highly decorated veterans testified to war crimes committed in Southeast Asia, not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command….

They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country.

Rush was talking about Jesse MacBeth – I knew that, the caller knew that and the rest of the world knows that. 

The liberals are crazier than an addict on an high.  These people need serious psycological treatment in a white room.

Rush Phony Soldiers

I already pay for 24/7 access to Rush’s site and I have XM Radio, so I’m willing to pay to get my “one sided talk radio” if it comes to it.

The Big Dog calls it “The Unfairness Doctrine“:

The Democrats believe that their message is not getting out because Conservative radio is distorting the truth. What Democrats are really saying is that they do not want you to have a choice in what you listen to and they will force people in the private sector to give opposing views the chance to air.

The Democrats believe this is fair but what it really is is an extension of their Socialist ways. They are, in essence, redistributing the opinions expressed on radio. They are not really any different than Hugo Chavez who seized control of radio stations in his Socialist “paradise.”

A commentor at Redstate‘s “Fighting The “Fairness Doctrine” By Pejman Yousefzadeh has a valid point:

The lefties supporting this are totally upset over possible governement listening in on terrorists at work. Yet these same people blithely talk about censoring real Americans in the course of their excercise of the Constitution.

Liberals Want End of ‘Right-Wing Radio’

A liberal organization has gone on the attack against what it calls “right-wing talk” radio – while acknowledging that it totally dominates the airwaves today.

The Center for American Progress’ new report, “The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio,” questions whether the “companies licensed to broadcast over the public radio airwaves are serving the listening needs of all Americans,” the Center’s Web site states. “Right-wing talk reigns supreme on America’s airwaves.”

 Jo Says: Couldn’t be that no one wants to listen to Air anti-America? DUH!

According to the report, 91 percent of the total weekday talk radio programming on stations owned by the top five commercial station owners is conservative, and 9 percent is liberal.

Remember the smart-assed comment Trent Lott made about â€œtalk radio is running America — we have to deal with that problem,” well looks like he’s taking some heat for it!
