This morning on Fox and Friends, I learned Elle did an article on conservative women.  Well, at least that’s what they told the people they interviewed it would be about.  Instead, it turned out to be a name calling hit peice.  Another attack on Palin and women who do not believe in the liberal mindset.

They want to regulate everything.

Including …. wait for it …. Goat Herders.

The Obama administration is setting new workplace regulations to assist foreign workers who fill goat herding positions in the U.S. , including employee-paid cell phones and comfy beds.

These new special procedures issued by the Labor Department must be followed by employers who want to hire temporary agricultural foreign workers to perform sheep herding or goat herding activities.  It describes strict rules for sleeping quarters, lighting, food storage, bathing, laundry, cooking and new rules for the counters where food is prepared.

“A separate sleeping unit shall be provided for each person, except in a family arrangement,” says the rules signed by Jane Oates, assistant secretary for employment and training administration at the Labor Department.

“Such a unit shall include a comfortable bed, cot or bunk, with a clean mattress,” the rules state. [source]

WASHINGTON (AFP) – US President Barack Obama’s trip to Brazil, Chile and El Salvador beginning this week is still on, despite fears of a nuclear disaster in Japan and turmoil in the Middle East, officials said.

“Obviously, the trip is on. The president will be going to Latin America,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said, ahead of Obama’s departure for Brazil Friday on a visit billed as advancing major goals of US foreign policy.

Obviously?

“He is the president of the United States. There are major issues all the time that a president has to contend with, which is one of the reasons why he has such a substantial support framework around him when he travels.”

Yeah – and if Bush had traveled out of the country right after 9/11 or Katrina – the left would have ripped him to shreds. And we do know what “issues” Obama is having to contend with now don’t we?

“You have to remember that economic growth in the United States is the president’s top priority. This trip is very focused on economic opportunities for the United States and the trade relationship.”

 Carney – really. We can tell when you’re lying – stop moving your lips.

This president is clearly the empty suit the majority of us with half a brain knew he was before the election. 

He plays at being the president and is using the presidency to play at whatever he wants to.

We need back bone, strength and clarity in our President. 

Not the ability to fly to Rio and dance or pull a basketball team’s name out of a hat.

But its worse actually.  They’ve pulled the race card.

The Congressional Black Caucus is accusing the GOP of setting back black civil rights in this country.

Really — I’m not kidding.

“It’s really especially poignant that this year during Black History Month, the Republican leadership has proposed a budget for fiscal year 2011 that will fall most heavily, mind you, on the backs of the most vulnerable in our society: African Americans, Latinos, and poor, those who have been shut of the American dream,” said Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), who described the cuts as ill-timed and destructive. Source

What is wrong with the cuts Rep Lee? Is it because maybe some of the hand outs people get in this country are going to change? Tell me how in the hell cuts to the Federal Budget will push back civil rights?

“At a time when we should be remembering and uplifting the accomplishments and contributions of African Americans, to the history, culture, civil rights and economy of America, we are literally during this month debating steps that will severely undercut and undermine that legacy,” she [Lee] said.

This women, and the CBC, are on dope. Anyone who believes this have to be high as a frackin’ kite.  Cuts to the Federal Budget do not take away “rights”.

On a side note about Lee, she is behind HR780 that would defund military operations in Afghanistan.

H.R.780 - To provide that funds for operations of the Armed Forces in Afghanistan shall be obligated and expended only for purposes of providing for the safe and orderly withdrawal from Afghanistan of all members of the Armed Forces and Department of Defense contractor personnel who are in Afghanistan.

I wonder if Lee really believes what she was saying, or was she just spouting off the typical Democrat talking points.   There is no way in hell Federal budget cuts would set back Civil Rights in this country for ANYONE.  Its all about wanting to label the Republicans as haters of the black man.

Rep Lee – check your history and see which party in this country fought against civil rights for the black man.

In the 26 major civil rights votes after 1933, a majority of Democrats opposed civil rights legislation in over 80 percent of the votes. By contrast, the Republican majority favored civil rights in over 96 percent of the votes. Source

Sheen Mug Shot

He’s gone off the deep end — again.  And this time someone finally grew a set and fired back.

For some unknown reason (at least to me) Sheen got on a radio talk show and blasted his bosses at CBS.  It was some pretty vile stuff – but because he’s been babied (ala Lindsey Lohan and Brittney Spears), he probably felt nothing would happen to him.  I mean, he is the son of one of the best known and loved actors in Hollywood right?

[CBS halted production on Two and Half Men] just hours after recordings of a Sheen interview with syndicated radio personality Alex Jones went viral. In the interview, Sheen repeatedly attacked the show’s creator, executive producer Chuck Lorre, whom Sheen insisted on calling “Chaim Levine.”

Among the nastier bits of the interview, Sheen told Jones: “Check it, Alex: I embarrassed [Lorre] in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that his unevolved mind cannot process. Last I checked, Chaim, I spent close to the last decade effortlessly and magically converting your tin cans into pure gold. And the gratitude I get is [that] this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write.” Source

So while Charlie goes off on a love affair of himself, his co-workers are left stranded.  Yes, Charlie is supposedly the star of the show, but if anyone has watched it for any length of time, you know the show wouldn’t be without Jake, Alan & Berta.  Could the show go on without him? Probably not for long.  The humor of the show surrounds Charlie and his childish ways, and how the other characters react to him.  Although Charlie Harpers’ life is not as dramatic as Charlie Sheen’s, the parallels are the same.

Charlie Sheen is a drug addicted, ego-maniac that has been allowed to destroy lives around him.  I really feel sorry for his children.  They didn’t ask for this creep to be their father.

Charlie – you need professional help in a lock down facility.

But right now – I really don’t care what you do.  You do not effect my life in any other way than to add some eye rolling humor on occasion.   Go get clean and sober.  Its the best thing for everyone.

My state is a Right to Work state.  My employer offers health insurance and benefits that can be purchased BY ME if I want them.  I do not have to participate in the health insurance plan, nor the retirement plan, if I don’t want to.  But if I chose to, I pay a portion of the monthly premium and my employer supplements the rest.

I am proud of the fact that I am not sucking on the government teat as a union member.  Union members making over $87,000 to $100,000 a year in salary and benefits crying a river about going broke by having to pay their fair share are nothing more than spoiled rotten brats who need to sit in the corner on a time out.

Reality bites folks.

This nation is broke (and getting more so as long as Obama and his Union thugs are in power).

We have to start tightening our belts and living within our means.

If that means union babies have to start *gasp* paying their way like the private sector has to – so be it.

Unions *force* people to pay dues.   Because of liberal governors, a lot of States collect union dues from employee checks and send to the union.  The public employee has no control over what the union then does with the money.  What the union fears the most is losing membership – forced membership – and money.   Its all about the money people.  Has nothing to do with employee rights.  You can follow them down that path of lies all you want, but you are no more than brainless drones in my opinion.

Once the unions are destroyed in this country, we can start to move forward and fix it.   President Obama is a union supporter because he knows through the unions, the progressives have power.  Well, what the progressives want is now clearly out in the open and like sunlight to a vampire, it’s burning the hell out of them.

And anything you say will not convince me otherwise.  As long as union members protesting are not acting civilly like their leader Obama told them to, your voice and opinion will be ignored.

The SGM and I just shook our heads at the news broadcast on Fox News this am about the dunce with a gun taking on the Panama City, Florida school board.  Damn good thing the SGM hadn’t taught this guy to shoot, because the out come would have been a lot different.

A gunman who fired point-blank at school board members before fatally shooting himself had for much of the meeting sat with the rest of the audience, listening to routine business.

As the board was in the midst of a discussion yesterday, Clay A. Duke walked to the front of the room, spray painted a red “V” with a circle around it on the white wall, then turned and waved a handgun. He calmly ordered everyone to “hit the road” except the men on the board sitting behind a long beige desk. (Source)

From what we were able to learn, Mr. Duke blamed all his troubles on the evil rich. Now isn’t that special?  Most of the news reports I’m finding this morning are indicating Mr. Duke committed this horror because his wife was fired from the school …. not too many of the liberal outlets are reporting his statement about the rich causing all his ills. 

CNN, however, is reporting on Mr. Duke’s Facebook page and this is where the statements about the rich are found. 

A biography on Duke’s Facebook page reads: “My Testament: Some people (the government sponsored media) will say I was evil, a monster (V)… no… I was just born poor in a country where the Wealthy manipulate, use, abuse, and economically enslave 95% of the population. Rich Republicans, Rich Democrats… same-same… rich… they take turns fleecing us… our few dollars… pyramiding the wealth for themselves. The 95%… the us, in US of A, are the neo slaves of the Global South. Our Masters, the Wealthy, do, as they like to us…”   (Highlighting is mine)

While Congress is arguing that the rich must be taxed into oblivion, this dumb ass uses the excuse that he’s poor to terrorize people and kill himself.

Suicide is the coward’s way out PERIOD.

People who hate the rich are those not willing to work hard and obtain what they need/want in life. 

Life is NOT fair – get over it. 

Festivus and Kwanzaa are FAKE holidays.

One was created by a stupid, supposedly funny, television show that was unfortunately on the air waves too long (one show should have been enough to put that show in the crapper).

The other was created by a convicted felon, claiming it as the Black Alternative to Christmas.  Please tell me where we need an alternative to Jesus?  Most black people I know are very devote to the Bible and don’t need an alternative to Christmas.  But then there are those that fall into the trap of wanting to “fit in”, so go along with Kwanzaa.

Festivus is supposedly just a fun way of celebrating something stupid and since the whole concept is stupid, I can believe that.  Anyone celebrating or taking it serious needs their heads examined and taste in comedy shows questioned.

People who fall into the Kwanzaa trap though are really scary.  Kwanzaa is NOT A FEDERAL OR OFFICIAL holiday.  This abomination of a celebration as an alternative to Christmas should be shunned by EVERYONE that even basically understands the idea of Christmas and what it stands for.  Kwanzaa wants to take away the belief in Jesus Christ and replace it with some mumbo jumbo cooked up in a jail cell.

You who celebrate either should be ashamed …

… there is only one reason for the season — and that’s to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Hey – Mr. Obama are you going to tell your union thugs who got you elected they have to fire teachers?

I think not.

Yet this is the same idiot who signed a bill shortly after entering office that stopped the school voucher program in Washington DC, preventing poorer students to attend private schools like the one his daughters attend.

.There are a lot of parents Mr. Obama that don’t want their children to attend the Washington DC area schools either and they used the vouchers to get their children into better schools.  But YOU Mr. Obama stopped the ability of those parents to provide for their children a better education through a private school system — just like your daughter’s are getting Mr. Obama.

How does this man-child who would be king sleep at night treating the children in this country like he does?

Why this particular “office” is needed is behind me. The UN is a useless organization that sucks up monies from its member nations, has commissions on peace and human rights and puts the worst offenders on the planet in charge of them.

Give me a presidential candidate that has part of his platform the booting of the UN off US soil and payments to them cut in half, and there is someone that would probably get my vote.
