So is Shared Sacrifice.

In February, Obama came out with a pressor on his budget, saying:

“Everybody’s going to have to give a little bit” to solve the nation’s fiscal problems, President Obama told reporters at a hastily called White House press briefing Tuesday morning. Source

It came up again after liberal senators drug oil company executives to Washington last week demanding to know why gas prices had gone up so much (since Obama took office).

But here is the biggest problem with shared sacrifice that liberals won’t admit, or mention. 

Approximately 47% of Americans DO NOT PAY ANY FEDERAL TAXES.

True shared sacrifice would mean that those 47% would have to START paying federal taxes.  But if that would happen, then the democrats would loose a major voting block for them.  The majority of those that do not pay federal taxes already live on a government hand out and they keep voting for those pigs, er, democrats who give them their hand outs.

Can you imagine what would happen if those that don’t pay any federal taxes started paying say $5 a year in taxes?  Let’s say that the 47% is actually 47,000,000.  Multiply in your head that amount by $5.  Staggering isn’t it?

For those that don’t do math that well, it comes to $235,000,000. That amount would be added to the rest of the taxes being paid by good Americans to Jabba the Hutt, er, I mean the US Government.

If you want true shared sacrifice by Americans, start demanding those that don’t support their own government to start ponying up their share.

But its worse actually.  They’ve pulled the race card.

The Congressional Black Caucus is accusing the GOP of setting back black civil rights in this country.

Really — I’m not kidding.

“It’s really especially poignant that this year during Black History Month, the Republican leadership has proposed a budget for fiscal year 2011 that will fall most heavily, mind you, on the backs of the most vulnerable in our society: African Americans, Latinos, and poor, those who have been shut of the American dream,” said Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), who described the cuts as ill-timed and destructive. Source

What is wrong with the cuts Rep Lee? Is it because maybe some of the hand outs people get in this country are going to change? Tell me how in the hell cuts to the Federal Budget will push back civil rights?

“At a time when we should be remembering and uplifting the accomplishments and contributions of African Americans, to the history, culture, civil rights and economy of America, we are literally during this month debating steps that will severely undercut and undermine that legacy,” she [Lee] said.

This women, and the CBC, are on dope. Anyone who believes this have to be high as a frackin’ kite.  Cuts to the Federal Budget do not take away “rights”.

On a side note about Lee, she is behind HR780 that would defund military operations in Afghanistan.

H.R.780 - To provide that funds for operations of the Armed Forces in Afghanistan shall be obligated and expended only for purposes of providing for the safe and orderly withdrawal from Afghanistan of all members of the Armed Forces and Department of Defense contractor personnel who are in Afghanistan.

I wonder if Lee really believes what she was saying, or was she just spouting off the typical Democrat talking points.   There is no way in hell Federal budget cuts would set back Civil Rights in this country for ANYONE.  Its all about wanting to label the Republicans as haters of the black man.

Rep Lee – check your history and see which party in this country fought against civil rights for the black man.

In the 26 major civil rights votes after 1933, a majority of Democrats opposed civil rights legislation in over 80 percent of the votes. By contrast, the Republican majority favored civil rights in over 96 percent of the votes. Source

What I get from the left getting their panties in a snit about the reading of The Constitution, the founding documents for this great nation, is:

They don’t want to find out where they’ve been wrong.

They do not like the fact it does not say “The Government will control everything while they suck your wallets dry to do so.”

The SGM and I just shook our heads at the news broadcast on Fox News this am about the dunce with a gun taking on the Panama City, Florida school board.  Damn good thing the SGM hadn’t taught this guy to shoot, because the out come would have been a lot different.

A gunman who fired point-blank at school board members before fatally shooting himself had for much of the meeting sat with the rest of the audience, listening to routine business.

Duke walked to the front of the room, spray painted a red “V” with a circle around it on the white wall, then turned and waved a handgun. From what we were able to learn, Mr. Duke blamed all his troubles on the evil rich. Now isn’t that special?  Most of the news reports I’m finding this morning are indicating Mr. Duke committed this horror because his wife was fired from the school …. not too many of the liberal outlets are reporting his statement about the rich causing all his ills. 

CNN, however, is reporting on Mr. Duke’s Facebook page and this is where the statements about the rich are found. 

A biography on Duke’s Facebook page reads: “My Testament: Some people (the government sponsored media) will say I was evil, a monster (V)… no… I was just born poor in a country where the Wealthy manipulate, use, abuse, and economically enslave 95% of the population. Rich Republicans, Rich Democrats… same-same… rich… they take turns fleecing us… our few dollars… pyramiding the wealth for themselves. The 95%… the us, in US of A, are the neo slaves of the Global South. Our Masters, the Wealthy, do, as they like to us…”   (Highlighting is mine)

While Congress is arguing that the rich must be taxed into oblivion, this dumb ass uses the excuse that he’s poor to terrorize people and kill himself.

Suicide is the coward’s way out PERIOD.

People who hate the rich are those not willing to work hard and obtain what they need/want in life. 

Life is NOT fair – get over it. 

The pre-screening is simply an investigation for those individuals who have prosthetic devices, or like my husband, have shrapnel in their bodies.

It could go something like this:

The SGM and I decide to fly for whatever reason.  He goes to the doctor and receives a certified document stating due to his military service and his time in Afghanistan, he received sharpnel from an IED and there are metal pieces here, here and here in his body.   We then take this document, probably with x-rays, to a local TSA office where he is investigated and its documented about his issues.  Then when we reach the TSA mugging area, his records in the system will show the pre-screening and issues.   There would then be no need for him to be bag-checked physically by a TSA sex-offender to get on the plane.

I highly doubt the new TSA guidelines are to protect the public.  The Obama administration is trying to desensitize us into being treated like the cattle they believe we are so we can become accustom to being treated a such.

This assault on US Citizens most stop now.

Caller to Rush Limbaugh today read him letters he received from HHS Sebilious in May 2010 that he would not lose his coverage through Medicare Advantage.  He received another letter in August (I believe) from his insurance carrier for Medicare Advantage, advising him they will no longer provide him coverage under Medicare Advantage.   The caller went on to tell Rush he has been quoted a plan by his insurance agent for $2500.  I didn’t catch if that was for an annual policy, but probably is.  Rush asked the caller what he was paying before and told Rush just co-pays and deductibles.

Richard Foster, the actuary for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, also tells Senate Republicans that the overhaul will result in “less generous benefit packages” for Medicare Advantage plans next year. Foster is independent from the administration and non-partisan.

Yes, its true.   Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is going to be offering up $50,000,000 American Tax Payer dollars to provide clean cook-stoves to the world.

At the CGI meeting on Tuesday, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will announce a U.S. commitment of about $50 million over five years for a project aimed at reducing smoke inhalation morbidity and mortality by providing clean-cooking stoves in developing countries, Reuters reports (Mason, 9/21). 

The project’s goal is to distribute “100 million clean-burning stoves to villages in Africa, Asia and South America by 2020,” the New York Times reports (Broder, 9/20). Several partners, including the U.N. Foundation and the Shell Foundation, are involved in the new project, called the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves, which seeks to raise as much as $100 million over five years for new stoves, Bloomberg writes.

That is a LIE.

The health care bill attacks those of us with insurance already and increases fees and expenditures to the point it will eventually force us off that insurance and onto Medicare (government health care and control).  I will fight to the bitter end to stay on private insurance.  Below is a copy of the Revenue Offset Provision in the Obama-care bill that will increase fees for the already insured to try and force us out of paying for our own coverage.   This is how the socialists will take over if not stopped.

Obama Care Bill – Revenue Offset Provision, or: Screw the Employee to raise money Provision

Title IX: Revenue Provisions – Subtitle A: Revenue Offset Provisions – (Sec. 9001, as modified by section 10901) Amends the Internal Revenue Code to impose an excise tax of 40% of the excess benefit from certain high cost employer-sponsored health coverage. Deems any amount which exceeds payment of $8,500 for an employee self-only coverage plan and $23,000 for employees with other than self-only coverage (family plans) as an excess benefit. Increases such amounts for certain retirees and employees who are engaged in high-risk professions (e.g., law enforcement officers, emergency medical first responders, or longshore workers). Imposes a penalty on employers and coverage providers for failure to calculate the proper amount of an excess benefit.

(Sec. 9002) Requires employers to include in the W-2 form of each employee the aggregate cost of applicable employer-sponsored group health coverage that is excludable from the employee’s gross income (excluding the value of contributions to flexible spending arrangements).

No longer will health care insurance be considered a benefit as it will now be included as part of your salary.

(Sec. 9003) Restricts payments from health savings accounts, medical savings accounts, and health flexible spending arrangements for medications to prescription drugs or insulin.

So those of us that use Insulin are going to get screwed for needing that medication?

(Sec. 9004) Increases to 20% the penalty for distributions from a health savings account or Archer medical savings account not used for qualified medical expenses.

Who is going to get that 20%? You guessed – the government. Shove that shiv in the employee’s back!

(Sec. 9005, as modified by section 10902) Limits annual salary reduction contributions by an employee to a health flexible spending arrangement under a cafeteria plan to $2,500. Allows an annual inflation adjustment to such amount after 2011.

(Sec. 9006) Expands reporting requirements for payments of $600 or more to corporations (other than tax-exempt corporations).

(Sec. 9007, as modified by section 10903) Requires tax-exempt charitable hospitals to: (1) conduct a community health needs assessment every two years; (2) adopt a written financial assistance policy for patients who require financial assistance for hospital care; and (3) refrain from taking extraordinary collection actions against a patient until the hospital has made reasonable efforts to determine whether the patient is eligible for financial assistance. Imposes a penalty tax on hospitals who fail to comply with the requirements of this Act.

WTF? What if the community refuses to participate in your assessment Obama? Are you going to punish the hospital like you threaten later on in this section? So people are going to be allowed to go to the hospital but not have to pay if they can’t? I thought that’s what this damn bill was suppose to be for!

Requires the Secretary of the Treasury to report to Congress on information with respect to private tax-exempt, taxable, and government-owned hospitals regarding levels of charity care provided, bad debt expenses, unreimbursed costs, and costs for community benefit activities.

(Sec. 9008) Imposes an annual fee on the branded prescription drug sales exceeding $5 million of manufacturers and importers of such drugs beginning in 2010. Requires the HHS, VA, and DOD Secretaries to report to the Secretary of the Treasury on the total branded prescription drug sales within government programs within their departments.

Screwing the manufacturer of the medications that keep us alive. Where do you think said manufacturers are going to shuffle the costs off to for these fines/fees? Yup – to you and me.

(Sec. 9009, as modified by section 10904) Imposes an annual fee on the gross sales receipts exceeding $5 million of manufacturers and importers of certain medical devices beginning in 2011.

(Sec. 9010, as modified by section 10905) Imposes on any entity that provides health insurance for any United States health risk an annual fee beginning in 2011. Defines “United States health risk” as the health risk of an individual who is a U.S. citizen or resident or is located in the United States with respect to the period the individual is so located. Exempts entities whose net premiums written are not more than $25 million. Requires all entities subject to such fee to report to the Secretary of the Treasury on their net written premiums and imposes a penalty for failure to report.

(Sec. 9011) Requires the VA Secretary to study and report to Congress by December 31, 2012, on the effect of fees assessed by this Act on the cost of medical care provided to veterans and on veterans’ access to medical devices and branded prescription drugs.

We’re going to screw the Veteran, then do a tax-payer paid for study to see how badly this screwing effects the protectors of our country.

(Sec. 9012) Eliminates the tax deduction for expenses for determining the subsidy for employers who maintain prescription drug plans for Medicare Part D eligible retirees.

(Sec. 9013) Increases the adjusted gross income threshold for claiming the itemized deduction for medical expenses from 7.5% to 10% beginning after 2012. Retains the 7.5% threshold through 2016 for individual taxpayers who have attained age 65 before the close of an applicable taxable year.

(Sec. 9014) Imposes a limitation after December 31, 2012, of $500,000 on the deductibility of remuneration paid to officers, directors, employees, and service providers of health insurance issuers who derive at least 25% of their gross premiums from providing health insurance coverage that meets the minimum essential coverage requirements established by this Act.

(Sec. 9015, as modified by section 10906) Increases after December 31, 2012, the hospital insurance tax rate by .9% for individual taxpayers earning over $200,000 ($250,000 for married couples filing joint tax returns).

Here is the “rich” tax again on those making $250,000 a year …

(Sec. 9016) Requires Blue Cross or Blue Shield organizations or other nonprofit organizations that provide health insurance to reimburse at least 85% of the cost of clinical services provided to their enrollees to be eligible for special tax benefits currently provided to such organizations.

We’ve all heard stories of when the Americans were in Europe to push back all that was Hitler.  The children of the people they encountered were wide eyed and loved the trinkets and chocolate the Americans gave them.  You hear stories today of adults who remember the Americans coming to save them and their families, and the chocolate so freely given.  Even the SGM said when in Afghanistan, the children they encountered hopefully learned the Americans weren’t bad and would end up growing to be adults who  did not turn to the dark side of the Taliban.

Barack Hussein Obama knows that if he gets the children when their minds are easily molded, then he will have a generation trained in his ways, so even after he is out of office in 2012, there will be hope for his communist dreams in the future.

And being the Supreme Teacher that he is, he has set down guidelines for addditional learning from Heir Obama’s speech, in the Letter from the Secretary of Education.
