You stood out there in El Paso, Texas yesterday and sounded like a two-year old, whiney baby not getting your way.  How dare you make the statements you made and sleep at night?

EL PASO, Texas – In search of Hispanic votes and a long-shot immigration overhaul, President Barack Obama on Tuesday stood at the U.S.-Mexico border for the first time since winning the White House and declared it more secure than ever. He mocked Republican lawmakers for blocking immigration over border security alone, saying they won’t be happy until they get a moat with alligators along the border.

“They’ll never be satisfied,” he said.

Now isn’t that special?  Clearly this was a campagin speech. Gotta get that “undocumented” vote out there on 2012. 

Anyone that reads the headlines and lives in the border area knows the border is NOT secure. 

I kept waiting for the cheery minsterals to come out in their joker hats and start playing a tune around Obama.

How embarassing a president do we have uh?

Yes, Mr. President, let’s build a moat, add a couple DMZ type fences and a few squads of sharpshooters along the border. 

Protect us Mr. President.  In other words – do your job!

Gates on Meet the Press yesterday:

“I don’t think it’s [Lybia] a vital interest of the United States, but we clearly have an interest there,” Mr. Gates said in an appearance on the NBC News program, “Meet the Press” as part of a round of appearances on Sunday morning talk shows. (Source)

It was a stunning power play.  On Meet The Press this morning, after Defense Secretary Bob Gates conceded that Libya is not a “vital interest” of the United States–but before he could complete his comments–Hillary cut him off.  She launched into a minute-and-forty-second monologue seeking to justify US military involvement in Libya.

Gates had to sit and take it . . . and never got to say another word. (Source)

Now Obama is going on national television to explain his policy in regard to Lybia.

Really folks – did you think we’d get anything better when we elected a community organizer as President?  This man does not know how to lead.  He does everything by commitee and shows up to the parade too late.

Clearly, SOS Hillary Clinton has the bigger set in this situation.

The Congressional Black Caucus is accusing the GOP of setting back black civil rights in this country.

Really — I’m not kidding.

“It’s really especially poignant that this year during Black History Month, the Republican leadership has proposed a budget for fiscal year 2011 that will fall most heavily, mind you, on the backs of the most vulnerable in our society: African Americans, Latinos, and poor, those who have been shut of the American dream,” said Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), who described the cuts as ill-timed and destructive. Source

What is wrong with the cuts Rep Lee? Is it because maybe some of the hand outs people get in this country are going to change? Tell me how in the hell cuts to the Federal Budget will push back civil rights?

“At a time when we should be remembering and uplifting the accomplishments and contributions of African Americans, to the history, culture, civil rights and economy of America, we are literally during this month debating steps that will severely undercut and undermine that legacy,” she [Lee] said.

This women, and the CBC, are on dope. Anyone who believes this have to be high as a frackin’ kite.  Cuts to the Federal Budget do not take away “rights”.

On a side note about Lee, she is behind HR780 that would defund military operations in Afghanistan.

H.R.780 - To provide that funds for operations of the Armed Forces in Afghanistan shall be obligated and expended only for purposes of providing for the safe and orderly withdrawal from Afghanistan of all members of the Armed Forces and Department of Defense contractor personnel who are in Afghanistan.

I wonder if Lee really believes what she was saying, or was she just spouting off the typical Democrat talking points.   There is no way in hell Federal budget cuts would set back Civil Rights in this country for ANYONE.  Its all about wanting to label the Republicans as haters of the black man.

Rep Lee – check your history and see which party in this country fought against civil rights for the black man.

In the 26 major civil rights votes after 1933, a majority of Democrats opposed civil rights legislation in over 80 percent of the votes. By contrast, the Republican majority favored civil rights in over 96 percent of the votes. Source

My state is a Right to Work state.  My employer offers health insurance and benefits that can be purchased BY ME if I want them.  I do not have to participate in the health insurance plan, nor the retirement plan, if I don’t want to.  But if I chose to, I pay a portion of the monthly premium and my employer supplements the rest.

I am proud of the fact that I am not sucking on the government teat as a union member.  Union members making over $87,000 to $100,000 a year in salary and benefits crying a river about going broke by having to pay their fair share are nothing more than spoiled rotten brats who need to sit in the corner on a time out.

Reality bites folks.

This nation is broke (and getting more so as long as Obama and his Union thugs are in power).

We have to start tightening our belts and living within our means.

If that means union babies have to start *gasp* paying their way like the private sector has to – so be it.

Unions *force* people to pay dues.   Because of liberal governors, a lot of States collect union dues from employee checks and send to the union.  The public employee has no control over what the union then does with the money.  What the union fears the most is losing membership – forced membership – and money.   Its all about the money people.  Has nothing to do with employee rights.  You can follow them down that path of lies all you want, but you are no more than brainless drones in my opinion.

Once the unions are destroyed in this country, we can start to move forward and fix it.   President Obama is a union supporter because he knows through the unions, the progressives have power.  Well, what the progressives want is now clearly out in the open and like sunlight to a vampire, it’s burning the hell out of them.

And anything you say will not convince me otherwise.  As long as union members protesting are not acting civilly like their leader Obama told them to, your voice and opinion will be ignored.

Seriously.  You have to be crazy to put up with the harassment and bullshit.

Especially if you are a Republican …

Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin was elected to that state’s highest office by the people.   He ran on a platform of cutting the state budget and turning around the dismal state.

So the first thing he wants to do is cut the legs of the unions out from under them.  (Yup, I agree with Obama on something) Pure and simple, the unions are killing the states with demand after demand and producing nothing.

Example:  If the teacher unions were for “the kids“, they wouldn’t have called out sick for the last three days, forcing the schools to close.  This simply proves to the people on the outside that unions are NOT for the kids, but for themselves and how much they can suck the tax payer dry for.

Those of us who work in the private sector have to contribute to a portion of our health insurance premium and depending on the type of pension offered, can contribute a portion to that too.  That’s how its been since I started working eons ago.  I’ve always contributed to a portion of the premium, if not all in some cases, and had no problem with it. 

Tell me why I should pay a portion and some lazy union thug forces me to pay for his too?  They are wanting to spread the wealth, but its ass backwards really. Since unions tend to make more money than the private sector, they are robbing the poor to pay for the rich.  It’s that bottom up thing the liberals seem to think works.

Unions need to be done away with.   The unions early beginnings helped make for better working conditions and benefits, so we really have no use for them any more.   They just want to exploit “the worker” to line their pockets with tax payer money.

By the way, I am not a “worker” (that’s an old style soviet title used by the Nazi’s).  I am a free American who is employed by a company that believes in what I have to offer to them.  I am paid very well for what I do, including benefits.  Our company does not abuse us in any way shape or form and if we have a grievance, we have avenues to walk them through.  We have no need for a union because our boss and board treat us fairly – as do 99.99% of the companies in this country.

I hope Governor Walker succeeds and the unions start losing their power all over this country.  I stand with Wisconsin.

The Army moved to a more “PC” way of dealing with people during the Clinton Administration.  Stress cards in Basic Training, Touchy Feely classes, etc.

Now that era is coming back to haunt us.

There are people in the military who don’t give a damn about political correctness and call a spade a spade; but evidently, none of these people with backbone were around Major Nidal Malik Hasan.    The murders on that day are also the responsibility of Hasan’s chain of command.  Hind-sight is 20/20, but anyone with two brain cells can understand that PC got in the way of stopping this man.  Hasan should have been kicked to the curb years ago and put on the terrorist watch list.  Instead – he was allowed to roam free on a military installation, in uniform, to plot and plan a massacre.

When will the next attack on American soil happen because of Political Correctness?  Only the radical muslim knows.

Its high time this country wake up and realize there are just some people who need to be dealt with harshly; religion, color of skin be damned.

A shooting at a town hall-style event Saturday in Tucson, Ariz., left six dead, including a federal judge, and critically wounded Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who police said was the target of the attack.

• Christina Taylor Green, 9, had recently elected to the student council at her school, and went to the event with a neighbor who thought the young girl may enjoy it.
• U.S. District Judge John M. Roll, 63.
• Gabe Zimmerman, 30, a former social worker who served as Giffords’ director of community outreach.
• Dorwan Stoddard, 76, was a pastor of Mountain Ave. Church of Christ in the area.
• Dorothy Morris, 76.
• Phyllis Schneck, 79.

At present Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords remains in intensive care following surgery at the University of Arizona Hospital for a gunshot wound to the head at close range. Source

God knows all and sees all. Why yesterday happened had nothing to do with anyone but for a person with serious issues in his life. This was the shooter’s fault, no one else is to blame.

A nine-year-old has gone to heaven because of this crazed man. What she could have accomplished in her adult life will never be known.

Please pray for all the families and those fighting for their lives still.

What I get from the left getting their panties in a snit about the reading of The Constitution, the founding documents for this great nation, is:

They don’t want to find out where they’ve been wrong.

They do not like the fact it does not say “The Government will control everything while they suck your wallets dry to do so.”

The SGM and I just shook our heads at the news broadcast on Fox News this am about the dunce with a gun taking on the Panama City, Florida school board.  Damn good thing the SGM hadn’t taught this guy to shoot, because the out come would have been a lot different.

A gunman who fired point-blank at school board members before fatally shooting himself had for much of the meeting sat with the rest of the audience, listening to routine business.

As the board was in the midst of a discussion yesterday, Clay A. Duke walked to the front of the room, spray painted a red “V” with a circle around it on the white wall, then turned and waved a handgun. He calmly ordered everyone to “hit the road” except the men on the board sitting behind a long beige desk. (Source)

From what we were able to learn, Mr. Duke blamed all his troubles on the evil rich. Now isn’t that special?  Most of the news reports I’m finding this morning are indicating Mr. Duke committed this horror because his wife was fired from the school …. not too many of the liberal outlets are reporting his statement about the rich causing all his ills. 

CNN, however, is reporting on Mr. Duke’s Facebook page and this is where the statements about the rich are found. 

A biography on Duke’s Facebook page reads: “My Testament: Some people (the government sponsored media) will say I was evil, a monster (V)… no… I was just born poor in a country where the Wealthy manipulate, use, abuse, and economically enslave 95% of the population. Rich Republicans, Rich Democrats… same-same… rich… they take turns fleecing us… our few dollars… pyramiding the wealth for themselves. The 95%… the us, in US of A, are the neo slaves of the Global South. Our Masters, the Wealthy, do, as they like to us…”   (Highlighting is mine)

While Congress is arguing that the rich must be taxed into oblivion, this dumb ass uses the excuse that he’s poor to terrorize people and kill himself.

Suicide is the coward’s way out PERIOD.

People who hate the rich are those not willing to work hard and obtain what they need/want in life.
