Masked in an all out assault on Gonzales comes the news …

WASHINGTON – Senate Democrats called for a perjury investigation against Attorney General Alberto Gonzales on Thursday and subpoenaed top presidential aide Karl Rove in a deepening political and legal clash with the Bush administration.

This another waste of time by the liberal congress … remember how much time they’ve already wasted? Harry Reid told us … “We have had 100 hearings on Iraq and we are going to have 100 more and we are proud of it. That is in preparation for us to get our valiant troops to come home.”

This do-nothing congress can’t find anything productive to do but have hearings, slumper parties and continue to go after Karl Rove.

Wonder how much could be getting done, ie: A fence on the southern & northern borders, if they would just get over their stalking of Karl Rove?

Didn’t we all these type people “geeks” in high school?

UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan is having a hissy fit! I think it’s the first time he’s been upset about anything really — he is the head of the Useless Nations isn’t he?

UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan today flayed Israel’s “apparently deliberate” targeting of a UN post in southern Lebanon in which four peacekeepers were killed.

Describing the strike as a “coordinated artillery and aerial attack on a long established and clearly marked UN post,” Annan said the attack in Khiyam took place “despite personal assurances given to me by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that UN positions would be spared Israeli fire.” Calling on the Israeli government to hold a “full inquiry,” Annan asked Tel Aviv to stop further attacks on world personnel and positions.

Maybe if you had enforced your own body’s resolution 1559, your useless people wouldn’t be in the middle of a war zone now Mr. Annan.

Where is your investigation into the taking of Israeli soldiers by the terrorist group Hezbollah?

One Arm Behind Back

Since the start of the recent events in the Middle East, I’ve made a point not to get involved in blogging about it. First of all, my history sucks and I wouldn’t be able to sound really knowledgable, and second – I don’t need the hassle from ignorant, parroting liberal talking points fools filling up my Spam Karma file.

But …

I support Israel and what they are doing. Let me tell you — if someone broke into my mother-in-law’s home and kidnapped her, her children would move heaven and earth to get her back. Is that not what Israel is doing?

Israel is fighting with one arm tied behind its back; in the eyes of those that support her. She’s damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t.

Personally? I wish they’d just wipe the whole place into the ocean.
