The anticipation is gone to watch this show.  I have last week’s sitting on the DVR – not watched.  I have already found out Dana is a terrorist (go figure).  So CTU gets attacked (again) and a terrorist has infiltrated it (again).  Blah Blah Blah.

I was beginning to think the writers were throwing darts at a board of all the previous season’s story lines and just writing them in.

The one good thing they did was dump Kim early on so we didn’t have to deal with her whining and crying the whole time.

Supposedly there is talk about a movie.  Okay – that sounds like something promising which could bring the show back to its original glory.

A once really great show that had our Monday’s buzzing and our Tuesday’s nothing but chatter about it has petered out to nothing.

Yes, it is time the silent clock counts down on this show.

It was all for Michelle?  

Okay … now we find out she was pregnant with his son.

But still … all the people that died, and are dying (Jack), was because a mad man killed his wife and son. 

Of course the SGM chimed in and said he’d go after anyone that hurt me. 

But would you kill two plane load’s of people? Would you commit your once best friend to a horrible death?

Could you walk away from it all and sleep at night knowing you avenged the death in spite of all the people you had to kill to do it?

I am still stunned the whole season was based on one person’s revenge. 

That could be the point of it all.  Some people are wired that way.  Jack always does what is in his heart, even if its not the “lawful” thing to do.  Can we then justify Tony doing what he did because of how he felt in his heart?

Other thoughts …

It was sweet to see little Ms. Taylor getting her comeuppances ala her mother the Prez.  Loved it!   We adore Aaron Pierce and it was good to see him back in the saddle and doing what he does best – the right thing.  

The most surprising part of the show was … Kim. Like most 24 viewers, except the males of course, I cannot stand Kim.  She screeches too much like her mother Teri and is about as dumb as a box of rocks.  (Do we have to bring up the cougar scene?)

BUT – Kim has grown up and it showed.  The acting was much improved and the maturity was evident.  Marriage and motherhood brought out the best of Kim Bauer.  She didn’t wine, she didn’t snivel, she did as her dad asked and walked away.  The old Kim wouldn’t have.  Bravo!  

About half way through this season, I was seriously considering just trashing this show and moving away.  Too much “green shit” and Janis overload. 

The producers must have realized viewers weren’t too happy with the “politically correct Janis” and the “go green” commercials because Janis actually had me cheering for her at the end and the green commercials seemed to fall by the way side.  

Yes, I’ll wait with baited breath for the next 24.

Phillip runs with Josh.  Josh doesn’t cooperate.

Evidently someone is going to show all the last hours of all 5 seasons on Saturday. We don’t know if its A&E (which we had it on before the show started), or Fox.  I can’t find anything on it this morning.  Please let me know if you find out.

Of course Jack is the best option … as usual – and it is about revenge. Don’t mess with Jack’s family and those he loves.

Our cable went out just at 9 pm.  Even with this season being as bad as it is, I want to see it to the end.

… it came up about 10 after.   Tom, Karen and the slimey VP are in a room discussing something; I assume Chang and the chip.

So the VP admits to Tom his relationship to Lisa.   Well he is a widower, so what is the harm in having a relationship.   But, Daniel Jackson is dirty dirty dirty.  (I love when this actor plays bad to Daniel’s good).

Go Doyle – Go Jack; and yes Nadia, if you’d let Jack at Audrey, there would be no escape of Jack Bauer on your temporary watch.

So Jack has gone solo — again. Same script, different day.

Chloe is back in the game and Jack has removed the tracking device.   Yup, seen this before.

Daniels wants the evidence.  Threatens Tom.  They decide to keep Karen in place for a while.  

Oh … lookie loo … the president getting some snuggly time in the Oval Office.  

Doyle is on Jack’s trail.

Oh come on Morris and Chloe — take it outside for god’s sake!

So they are going to drag Bill into it?   And now they are going to make Karen part of it?  OMG they are going to take Bill down … is Karen going to let her husband go through that?

Anyone else bored to tears with this season?  I’m not even hyped for tonight’s show.

Karen calls Bill to warn him, but he’s too busy.  Tom tells Karen Bill has to go and not her.

So Jack is going to blow himself up to keep his word to Wayne?  (Yawn)

So we find out that Audrey was supposedly working toward Heroine status. Now they want Jack to betray his country for her. Yawn ala Season 1 and his now dead wife Teri. (“Drive” was a heck’va lot more riveting)

I think my junk computer at work is faster than one Chloe has.

Hubby was right, Wayne asks Daniels to leave.
