I met Jo about 12 years ago in an AOL chat room. We have been friends ever since….but we have never met in person. Jo asked me to join her in posting to this blog some time ago, probably because I don’t have the ability right now in my life to maintain one of my own 
Trelaina, by the way, is not my real name 
It was my original AOL screen name, and over the years it has become a second name (I even used to answer to it, although that was years ago).
On Jo’s page, she lists 30 facts about herself. I’ll try my best to get close to that!
1. Born in New York, New York
2. Have lived in North Carolina for 30 years
3. I have been married for 12 years, to a high school band director
4. I met my husband in high school — but we did not date until after college
5. One child (so far), 5 years old
6. I have 1 sister and 2 brothers, all younger
7. I have 2 nephews
8. I was a geek in high school — and haven’t changed much
9. I have two bachelor’s degrees, in mathematics and computer science (told ya)
10. I once had 6 full-time jobs in 5 years, including two at the same time (for a few months)
11. I once worked part-time for America Online as a chatroom manager.
12. I am currently a senior technical analyst for a financial institution.
13. I had a beagle for 8 1/2 years who was my baby and I still miss terribly sometimes 
14. Only been outside the US once, when my inlaws were living in England
15. I am a breastfeeding advocate and manage a Yahoo breastfeeding support/advocacy group
16. I watch a LOT of shows on Food Network
17. I am a picky eater, married to an extremely picky eater
18. I am an NFL football fan, primarily rooting for the Carolina Panthers and NY Giants
19. Joined my HS band in junior year, playing cymbals, just so I could be part of it
20. I am a cartoon fan — and my all time fav is Starblazers
21. I consider myself a strong conservative with a libertarian streak
22. My brother won an Emmy last year
23. I am a HUGE Billy Joel fan (how did I forget that when I wrote this originally??)
