Oval Office Speak To

Thursday, 17 June 2010, 17:12

I have to confess — the SGM and I chose root canal’s over watching the man-child in Chief give his Oval Office finger-wagging talk to the nation on Tuesday night. After it was over (short uh?), we flipped to Bill O’Reilly and the rest of Fox’s nightly line up.

We got enough of the speech from their snippets to figure out we didn’t miss much. I personally cannot stand the man’s voice. The condescending tone of his voice makes my back teeth start to grate together and loathing crawls up the middle of the back. (Actually, this must be what the left experienced when they listened to President Bush).

I followed the majority of it on Twitter and the remarks who priceless. Evidently Obama looked like some stick figure puppet with his hands going all over the place. One Twitter buddy kept saying, “enough with the hands already” in some form or another.

Honestly, this Oval Office “speak down to the little people” speech was in reaction to the fact that Barack Obama doesn’t have command experience at any level; wouldn’t know how to kick some ass out of a wet brown paper sack and Rahm “dead fish” Emanuel properly told him to do it. The speech lacked any points that would give anyone confidence in his leadership abilities or actions he was going to supposedly take to help get the situation under control.

Obama’s answer to everything is hire a czar and form a commission. Now if he used them to physically stuff the hole with and stop the leak, okay, I might have a few people he could appoint (himself, Emanuel, etc).

But the speech is over and the oil is still spewing in the gulf. The unions are squeezing his nether regions enough for him to not lift the Jones Act (oh, BTW liberals – President Bush had enough leadership skills and knowledge to do that on his own during Katrina [wink wink]).

We are looking at total, absolute incompetence in action folks.
