Jo's Cafe

Have you been around the cafe lately and noticed Jo just isn’t available?  Yup, I’ve not been in the blogging spirit, under the weather, or just lost in Yoville (Facebook app).  I fought using FB for the longest time, even though I had an account.  Then my nail-lady kept telling me about this fun game she played, then a gal at work told me about another couple fun games to play, and, well I’m a game player so off I went.  Sure enough, wasn’t long before I was hooked!  I’m still not so sure about the whole FB experience, but learning as I go.

The world events have also depressed me to the point of sticking my head in the sand and just ignoring for a bit.  Dear Leader’s speech in Cairo pissed me off so bad I was glad for the high blood pressure medication I’m on.  The SGM(R) and I flipped it off after about 15 minutes in favor of the Weather Channel. 

Cassie received the last part of her heart-worm treatment this week.   We go back in next week for the blood smear test to see if they are all gone.  She is coming out of her shell more and more with Roscoe and the spit spats are less and less between them.  More playing and less snarling.  I figured once she was out of her confinement portion of the treatment, things would move forward.  She’s not sure about this throwing, catching and returning with a ball game yet, but next step on the ladder.  I hope we can also start walking them together to strengthen the pack.  Have you priced leads lately?  I looked at one of these to walk two dogs at once?  In the store they are $30, but come with the the leash also.  If you use one, let me know in comments how it works. 

I’ve also been skipping out on the gym.  Two weeks I haven’t darkened the door of the place.  Although, last week I did walk Roscoe every night, so its not like I didn’t do anything – but I can tell I haven’t been regular about working out.  My sugar is acting up more and feeling good isn’t there either.  So after my nail appointment today, the gym will get a visit.

That’s it for now.  Have more houswork, major cleaning, scheduled for this week, and maybe I’ll sit down and put a few posts together.
