Ah, the weekend.  I could have started mine Wednesday and been happy.  Caught a head cold this week.  Not a bad one, but just enough to make one uncomfortable.  Seems to be abating a bit this morning.

Tell me your bad customer service stories from this week.  We live in the county and are not on a waste disposal system – we have a septic tank.  In the last month the area has received a good amount of rain and most of us with septic systems have experienced some issues.  Ours basically filled up and couldn’t drain because the ground was too saturated.  There are no yucky back-up stories to tell, but we knew there was a problem.  I started looking for someone that could help.   The first company I called said they “might” be able to get to it on Friday, but would have to call me back.  Okay, that’s fine.  Well they never called back.   Another fellow did come out and meet with the SGM, but when he was asked when he could work on the tank said, “Now don’t be trying to pin me down to a day & time.”  uh?  What is up with that!  I called a third company yesterday (Friday) and they had a cancellation and could be at the house at 2 pm.  She also said they could be there at lunch, but I told her everyone needed to eat, 2 pm was fine.  Well they showed up at 12:30 and was gone by 1:30 and the problem fixed.  Oh, and the first company?  Called to verify my appointment … do what?  I told her she never called me back to tell me when they would arrive, so I’d called someone else.  People are bitching (in chorus with Obama) that the economy is sooooo bad, yet when I need service they can earn some money on, they blew me off.   Sounds like people wanting a hand out, not a hand up!

How many Obama stickers are you seeing lately?  I have been seeing less and less as we get further into his disastrous term.  Oh sure, there are the die-hards waiting on their stimulus checks (that aren’t dead that is) who still wear the Hope & Change t-shirts or have the O stickers on their cars, but I am not seeing as many as before.  Speaking of the dead people receiving stimulus checks (ie: our hard earned tax money just given away), if Pres. GW Bush had that happen during his term, the liberal press, Huffington Post, and Berkley nut jobs would be frothing at the mouth like rabid dogs to be the first to bash him for the stupidity of it all.  But since “The One” is in charge, they don’t care how fucked up and stupid his administration is.  One check was even sent to a guy who has been gone for over 30 years and was never in the Social Security System!  (BTW, the SGM hasn’t received his either.  Maybe because he’s still alive?)

Okay.  Everyone has heard by now that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is having a bad month.  Seems she has a bit of a problem keeping her stories straight.  You know, this could be a sign of old age (senility), too much plastic surgery or botox, or she’s a liberal.   I say all three are contributors.  Yes, there should be truth commissions.  Let it all hang out folks, on the left & the right.   I want the lies of Nancy Pelosi and the left exposed as much as those on the right should be.  No one in Washington should be above the law.   Its time the country start waking up in the Midwest and respective coasts to the shenanigans of those in Washington.  “We The People” are being lied to and the wool pulled over our eyes.   The majority of the people in DC are not there to do our bidding, but their own.  WAKE UP!  Pelosi’s issues are a big neon sign of what is wrong and is just the tip of the iceberg!  I don’t care what side you fall on - lies to the people are wrong.  Pelosi is lying and trying to shift blame elsewhere.  She is not only a horrible speaker of the house, she’s  rotten to the core on the inside.

Of course the idea of the truth commissions is to go after Bush era people, but if it grabs up a few democrats, ala Pelosi and company, lets go for it! The TRUTH needs to get out – no matter who falls because of it.

A quiet weekend with normal household chores ensues. Cassie is gaining weight and her and Roscoe are still working at the who is in charge part, but she is a part of now and we love her so much! Pictures need to be updated and I’ll try and post some tomorrow.
