Get Hurt in Combat, Pay Your Own Insurance
Thank You Dear Leader Obama. You have fallen into the same hate the military mantra as other liberals have done in office. But oh no you have to go further than all of them. Gotta make your mark on history as the worse president ever in our history.
Screw the men and women who volunteered to put on the uniform, whether early on or after 9/11, and were injured while serving this great country. Why should the country they served, willingly, take care of them and their injuries – as promised – now that you’re in the White House?
Outraged yet? You should be, and will be even madder as you read.
You see Dear Leader Obama wants to generate $540 Million dollars and he’s looking at every avenue available to do just that. He claims that to force soldiers to be treated by private insurance, they pay for, would help him find that money.
WASHINGTON (CNN) — Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki confirmed Tuesday that the Obama administration is considering a controversial plan to make veterans pay for treatment of service-related injuries with private insurance.
[...] Currently, veterans’ private insurance is charged only when they receive health care from the VA for medical issues that are not related to service injuries, like getting the flu.
Charging for service-related injuries would violate “a sacred trust,” Veterans of Foreign Wars spokesman Joe Davis said. Davis said the move would risk private health care for veterans and their families by potentially maxing out benefits paying for costly war injury treatments.
Sure people have talked to Dear Leader Obama, but do you think this arrogant ass is going to listen to anything people with experience and knowledge have to say?
WASHINGTON, March 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The leader of the nation’s largest veterans organization says he is “deeply disappointed and concerned” after a meeting with President Obama today to discuss a proposal to force private insurance companies to pay for the treatment of military veterans who have suffered service-connected disabilities and injuries. The Obama administration recently revealed a plan to require private insurance carriers to reimburse the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in such cases.
“It became apparent during our discussion today that the President intends to move forward with this unreasonable plan,” said Commander David K. Rehbein of The American Legion. “He says he is looking to generate $540-million by this method, but refused to hear arguments about the moral and government-avowed obligations that would be compromised by it.”
The bold sentence is what all of this boils down to: Money. Dear Leader has shoveled out so much money in his “Stimulus Bill” and now his budget that until he can start taxing the hell out of the regular populous, he’s going to go after those among us that need our help the most – wounded vets.
Write, call, fax, however you communicate with your representatives and senators and tell them NO to Dear Leader’s latest money grab.
The bastard doesn’t have the balls to walk one foot in any of these veterans shoes, but he has them to fail them in their time of need.
I wonder if this is how he plans on paying off the $900 million he gave to Hamas?

I contacted Sen. Murray (I live in Washington) to ask her to stand up against this idea. It really is shameful for the administration to treat our vets this way.

Claude, Thank you! I am hitting up mine this morning. But since mine are Republicans, I’m sure already where they stand.
Do come back soon!

Well Kashgari – The agreement with the soldiers and the country is if hurt in combat, they will be taken care of by the VA forever. Its not tedious, but a lot of soldiers because of their injuries require a lot of medical treatment and holding down a full-time job may not be possible while they get better.
To make such a flippant statement leaves the impression you care nothing for the military or their sacrifice. Remember, the freedoms afforded you by the Constitution are defended by the military.
