March Comes Into Alabama with Snow! [Updated]
[Scroll down for Updates]
Growing up in Southern Minnesota gave me an appreciation for snow — or should I say a hatred of it.
But living down south as long as I have, sometimes I miss it.
Well today, snow arrived in Central Alabama. I had to take pictures of course.

These first two are from the back porch.

And the one below is also from the backyard, looking over the neighbor’s yard.

(Note the date is wrong because the batteries needed changing, I really did take them just this morning!)

Roscoe hasn’t a clue what this stuff is!

Its really sticking now and was a bit too chilly for me to run around out there and take any more. Weather Channel says 2″ accumulation. No gym for me today and now a fire has been built in the fireplace!

Better Half being from northern Ohio… you’d think she would have had enough. But she has (like you) become like the rest of us and when it snows, it’s almost a holiday atmosphere.
And besides all that, if you’ve ever found sport in watching Bubba and Billy Earl try and drive their big honking pick-ups on an icy road, you know what redneck fun is all about, lol!
We went out and got a load of pics and video… will prolly run some of them tomorrow.
Happy Snowday

Still little bits scattered here and there in the yard. I hope the roads aren’t icy. Like Redoubt said, we don’t know how to drive on icy roads. I know how to drive slower, but that just means some idiot could run over me. I’m not looking forward to that.
