Well the road to the United Socialist States of America added a few more miles to it this week. There are three or four “republican in name only” senators that have gotten into bed with the liberal demorats in favor of the largest transfer of wealth to the government in history, or otherwise known as the stinkulus bill. At the time of this writing, I know of three: Collins and Snowe of Maine and Specter of Pennsylvania. Lieberman is going to vote for it, but he’s an Independent in name only really.
Let me ask you — what is your definition of “child”?
Well SCHIP was passed and signed into law by Dear Leader this week. A nationalized health care program for children. Children who can be up to the age of 30, or children who are a complete family (yes, with adults), that make up to $88,000 a year. Oh, and do you know how its going to be paid for? Smokers. Yup, those evil smokers who are addicted to nicotine are going to be taxed to pay for SCHIP. If you don’t smoke, you don’t have to pay for your neighbor’s healthcare. Yet. See, part of the bill is a quit-smoking plan too. Yup. So when we all quit smoking, where will the money come from to pay for SCHIP? Anyone? Yup. EVERYONES taxes will go up. So if you don’t smoke, be smug now, because once those of us that do smoke quit – you’ll have to start paying for your neighbor’s healthcare too.
Welcome to Socialism folks. How does it feel to be under the government thumb? Time to get me the bumper sticker “Don’t Blame Me, I Voted for Palin“.
Part of the requirements of the Dear Leader of N. Korea is a picture of him in every household. Hitler had the same requirement. Now followers of Dear Leader Obama are wanting the same thing, starting with all government buildings.
Another way for Dear Leader to have complete control is to get the guns out of the hands of the populace. Even though the 2nd Amendment gives us that right, Heller, the minions of the new power in Washington want that right taken away. See, an armed populace is a dangerous one.
The Obamabots put him in the Whitehouse and with the Congress in his back pocket, the road to the destruction of the United States as we once new it is in full swing. Kiss your life good-bye, because shortly, you will have to march to the drum of Dear Leader Obama.
