Ooops, DL Obama’s Afghan Policy Kills

Wednesday, 28 January 2009, 5:30

So much for getting rid of the “Bush” Administration policies in the war on terror.  DL Obama’s administration’s policies have already killed innocents in Afghanistan.

Well, at least that’s how the Karzai looks at it.

Karzai anger at US strike deaths

Afghan President Hamid Karzai has criticised a US military operation which killed at least 16 people in eastern Afghanistan.

Mr Karzai said most of those killed were civilians, adding that such deadly incidents strengthened Taleban rebels and weakened Afghanistan’s government.

Women and children were among those killed, Mr Karzai said.

The strike was the first controversy in Afghanistan involving US troops since US President Barack Obama took office.

In a statement, the president said two women and three children were among the dead in the attack, which the US said targeted a militant carrying a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG).

So much for change uh?

Yeah right …

Where are the loons on the left and their outrage? (crickets)

You really have to wonder about the liberal logic paradigms.

They used the term ‘change’ but to date, have followed President Bush’s strategies in Afghanistan and Iraq almost to the letter. On the other side of the coin, they want to close Gitmo… but Queen Pelosi quickly says ‘Not in my neighborhood!’ so the detainees can’t go to California or be housed on Alcatraz Island. In fact, not a single state that voted blue wants anything to do with relocating those terrorist/detainees that are deemed non-releasable.

The more you study this new administration, the more you see that there is very little original thought when it comes to important issues.

Change? Not here… they have none to spare.

They were targeting a single militant?? Followed by civilians? That’s a major error in judgement.

Re: Gitmo, if they really are going to close it down, then I think the next best place to house the terrorists would be the Supermax facility in Colorado. That’s where they have put our domestic terrorists: Terry Nichols, the Unabomber, Bob Hanssen, etc…
