This N’ That
My first This N’ That post for 2009.
Just what is a This N’ That post? Its a post where Jo has bits and parts of stuff floating around in her head that don’t fit into any specific category so they get dumped here.
First – My computer has a virus. Nasty Trojan.Vundo. I say “has” because even though I’ve run the Symentec Uninstaller twice, and the anti-virus program a dozen times so far, its still sneaking in. Packet.Generic has taken up residence somewhere to. I’m fighting it – we’ll see. I don’t plan on letting it win. I’m shutting of auto-access points to my firewall to see if that doesn’t help to. Because of this infection, I have a weird box that shows up at boot also. There is nothing I can do but click “ok” even though I have no clue what I’m okaying. Options right now are to a) get to boot set-up b) system restore to a week ago, or c) chunk the whole works when the laptop is delivered today.
Oh – did you see Michelle Obama’s ball gown? Isn’t this not a women who has access to the best designers in the world? Okay – so we have a “yes” and a “yes” from the crowd. Then can you explain to me why in the world it looked like someone wrapped her in paper-towels and super-glued cotton balls over it and spray painted it yellow? I saw it on three different TVs, so I know that isn’t the problem. I saw it in HD so I please don’t tell me I need a new TV. The fashion gods may shoot me down on this, but this women has an amazing figure and she looked FAT! Ugh The earring rocked though!
And so it begins …
President Barack H. Obama is poised to be the most pro-homosexual chief executive in history.
Unveiling his agenda Tuesday on the newly refurbished version of the White House Web site, Obama called for the repeal of the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), as well as the extension of more than 1,000 federal marriage benefits and of adoption rights to homosexual couples.

The SGM(r) is in North Carolina on a teaching rotation and sent me this picture from his hotel room of the snow that shut down the post for the day. He said one of the guys with him was scoffing at how people were acting, but when you’re not use to snow – you act nuts. Of course the guy had spent a lot of time at Fort Drum New York, so this was nothing to him.
Well that’s all for now. I have to figure out what to do with this mess on my computer, but alas that is for later today.
You all have a great day and God Bless!
