Stars from Google

Below are some items I was tagging from my Google Reader for later and thought I’d just pass them along.

Enjoy!

I have a first name I’ve detested for the majority of my life.  People screw it up all the time.  What my mother was thinking I do not know.  But, alas, its the moniker I’m stuck with so I deal.  But … have you heard about the child who’s parents named him after one of the worst dictators in history?  Redoubt has some thoughts on this.  Sad … very sad.

reading.jpgYes, the liberals want to shut down talk radio (Sean Hannity, Rush, Mark, Laura, etc.) because people actually like what they hear.  Why?  Truth.   Now that “The Messiah” is coming into office, the liberals in Washington are wanting to bring back the un-Fairness Doctrine, and not only for talk radio, but cable and satellite TV.  (Its that damned Fox News)

I don’t only read blogs that center around politics, I also keep up with Entertainment, Blogging, and just fun stuff.  Andy Beal over at Marketing Pilgrim has 21 of the Best WordPress Plugins for New Blogs.  Now you may not need all of them, as a lot are geared toward blogs making money – but go through the list and see what he uses.  I actually have some here!

I don’t use GMail for the majority of my emailing.  My Twitter account notifications and other stuff go there, mainly because there wasn’t much there I could see was different than Yahoo! or my personal family account.  Well, MakeUseOf.com is fantastic {go RSS it yourself} and they have an article about making your own custom signatures with: 5 Ways To Create Custom Multiple Signatures In GMail.

And finally, from TwiTip, TwitBacks – Create free Twitter backgrounds [Review].  If you use Twitter for business or please, this is a great blog to keep up with {of course created by the guy that runs ProBlogger – so of course its good}.

Do you have some great blogs or stories you want to share?  Down there, in comments, put the link there for all of us to enjoy!

Have a great day!
