America’s reputation is diddly squat now. Americans are hated around the world and are sneerd at because of the actions of Mr. George W. Bush. He has singlehandedly changed our surplus in the Clinton years to a huge deficit.

America’s reputation around the world has nothing to do with the deficit. We are hated because we stood our grounds after 9/11 and wouldn’t buckle under terrorism like France, Spain, etc. If standing up for what is right means we are hated: so be it. I’d rather be hated for doing right, then be laughed at for being weak.

Also, if you remember correctly, Mr. McCain voted for the same bailout package that President Elect Obama did. That is the single most socialist piece of legislation to ever pass through our House and Senate.

And your point about bringing up that John McCain and Barry voted for the same bailout bill proves what? Nothing. They BOTH did it, so don’t keep throwing it up in people’s faces. YOUR guy voted for it … you just said so.

My grandmother was a proud Democrat long before the party went communist. I’m glad she can’t witness the turn her party has taken. She’d be ashamed of it.

PS: BTW, a lot of the feelings and statements by Republicans today are the same as the ones said or felt by Democrats when Bush won. Are you saying I can’t feel or say them? Tsk Tsk .. so much for tolerance.

Were you proud of this country before today? Proud of GWB and his deficit spending policies that have put this Country in serious risk. Or were you proud of McCain, a guy who barely graduated from Naval Academy, lost 5 planes as an aviator, got caught in the Keating 5 scandal and ran a miserable campaign that had the GOP elite fleeing from him like rats off a sinking ship?

Other than them being capable of spreading fear and being exceedingly rich, white and inept, what exactly were you proud of before today?

As for patriotism and election frustration, I believe Jo has them both. Her husband proudly and bravely served this country and she sacrificed while he did it. She is as patriotic as they come. She has also earned the right to express her disdain for the outcome of this election as she pleases.

I did not denounce him. I’m stating the same fact you liberals stated when George Bush was elected. They said he wasn’t their president. What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander. If you don’t like your own sides’ actions thrown back in your face, you should have thought about the unity you’re demanding from me eight years ago.
