Ugh, three days after getting the flu shot, right on schedule, I have a head cold.  Was flaking out on the couch at 8 pm last night and in bed asleep by 10.   I slept through Stargate Atlantis and blew off Sanctuary for the bed.  Thank you god for DVR.   So am awake at 4:30 this morning - and no one is awake this early, not even on Twitter!  I haven’t had a flu shot since I left the Army in 1980.  I remember getting sick the next day and having to go on sick-call. So maybe I shouldn’t complain about this delayed reaction.  Ugh

Looks like the left machine got their wish by reports yesterday that Sarah Palin “abused” her power in their ethics probe - the one she called for btw - surrounding the state trooper who tazered his 10 year old son.  BUT — what the liberals peeing all over themselves about this won’t tell is the panel also found her firing of a state commissioner was “proper and lawful.”  Oh btw, Alan Colmes needs to be bitch slapped.  Now, moving on.  This report will be used by the left to discredit McCain / Palin, and frankly the all democrat panel that made this decision just gave the election to Obama.   We are all screwed.

CNN did a piece on Obama’s connection to the Terrorist Bill Ayers {faints}.  As Wild Thing asked “Did hell freeze over?“  Someone go check!

I added a new background to my Twitter page.  Its much prettier than any of the current options available, although the recent changes have improved your options.  MakeUseOf.com has a good post on how to change your Twitter settings page and links to a couple sites with great backgrounds to use.  

Anyone that knows me, or has been in my house, knows domestic and Jo are not two words you say in the same sentence in a positive way.  I still can’t convince the SGM(r) to hire a cleaning lady.  But checking out Blissfully Domestic, I ran up on this article: How to Fake Domestic-ness. That’ll work  

So, what do we do for the next four years?  I don’t know.  No crystal ball here.   Only God can see in the future and what it holds.  What I’m going to do is take enough money out of the bank and keep on hand for a years’ worth of bills.  With an Obama Whitehouse, and if we’re not smart enough to get rid of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, we are screwed.  Jimmy Carter II is fixing to happen.   If you can’t hold your nose and vote for McCain / Palin, than at least look at those we’re fixing to send back to the congress.  My two senators up for re-election voted no for the bail out and have a solid voting record “for the people”.  They will get my vote.  A republican congress will be the “only” thing to stop Obama from destroying this country completely.   THINK people.  THINK.
