Baby Doctor Who? EEK!

by Jo | October 7th, 2008

When I ran up on this article I almost fainted - good thing I was on the couch.

The BBC Wanted A Baby Doctor Who, Says RTD that leads to this at the Times.

Didn’t the BBC originally suggest the idea of “a young Doctor”?
They did, and I threw it out of the window. It would demystify the Doctor having a boy running around saying, “I am the Doctor” with a sonic screwdriver. Just rubbish.

The closest I’ve see of a young Time Lord is when The Doctor was explaining about when Master in S3 first saw the time vortex and went mad.

Could you imagine teenage time lords? Hip hopping around the Tardis with Ipods stuck in their ears?

{shudder}

Enough mad imagery for one day okay?

  1. Love the new look here!

  2. Thanks Karen. Still going to do some tweaking, but this one was much easier to set up than the last one.

  3. Re: Dr. Who.

    Unfortunately, we have a new generation of writers and producers who are inclined to extreme makeovers. There is a new Star Trek in the works and as I understand it, a new Captain Kirk is being groomed.

    Another note is that while they are including Leonard Nimoy for a cameo or two in the flick, they have opted not to bring in Shatner.

    PS - Have you watched any of that new series, ‘Fringe’?
