Happy Weekend Everyone!
Thank you for coming by the cafe. Please look around, leave a comment or two, or follow my silliness on Twitter.
How was your week? The SGM(r) had a run in with good ol’ Tricare that was not pretty. It ended well, but needless to say, we were sharply reminded just how government run healthcare can be bogged down with stupidity. These idiots had him going to a military post four hours away to see his PCM. When he pointed out Fort Benning was 12 miles from the house they just said, “oh”. No apology nothing. Then when wrote up the PCM change paperwork, they wrote “convienence”. He told him, “not my convienence, you need to write stupidity via Tricare.” I haven’t seen him that angry in a very long time. Like I said, it worked out in the end, but it was awful to see him go through it. Shades of things to come if the Obamamessiah gets elected. (shudder)
Have you ever been to Smashing Magazine? Well if you haven’t, go on and click away (but at least come back here afterward). They have some of the most amazing stuff … tutorials, CSS, showcases, etc. I love the computer backgrounds and icons/buttons they showcase.
How are you going to spoil yourself this weekend? I’m getting a mani and a pedi!!! Awwww
Have a great weekend! Again, thank you for visiting.
