The season 2 episode with the return of Sarah Jane Smith was one of the most intelligent sci-fi episodes I've seen in ages. Not for the main plot, but for the idea they finally touched on the idea of how a main character, be it from any show, touches the lives of anyone they interact with. (I won't say more if you haven't seen that one yet) The departure of Rose from the series... gut wrenching. BSG mid-season finale... is it just me, or did you somehow see that coming?
