SGM(R) to me after we watched the last five seconds of Desperate Housewives’ season finale Monday night (DVR is wonderful).

Gabby with “fat” babies?

Bree and Orson back together, with gay son her book manager?

Eddie never to return? (bonus!)

Lynette’s children juvinile delinquents? They must have learned well from that brat Kayla.

Katherine’s adopted daughter in Paris, free from evil wanna-be father, getting engaged? Cool

And what the heck did Susan do with Mike and Maynerd???!!!

I thought they were just being clever with the flash-forward as a one-time gimmick or maybe a funny shout out to Lost, but next season really does pick up five years later. Read that in an article yesterday.

It’ll be great watching Lynette as the mom of a bunch of hoodlums, since for the last four years I’ve done nothing but say, “Her kids are going to wind up in jail someday.”

And Susan with a younger guy? Cougar alert!

Now that you mention it, I now seem to recall an article stating the flash forward would remain in the new season. Its going to be a hoot watching Gabby with brats!
