Week END Wrap

Jo -

I think today I’m going to put on QVC and watch nothing but it until Monday morning.  I am so sick of watching Barrack Hussein Obama bouncing around like a two-year old needing a diaper change!  Politics has burned my eye-balls and my ears.
The SGM(R) wants to go … drum roll … shopping today!!  Actually, [...]

Hey Obama … Truth Hurt?

Jo -

Oh GW stirred up a hornets nest on the liberal side of the country hasn’t he?
Hasn’t it been fun watching these liberals twist and squirm in the truth of his statement, the whole time blasting him for blasting Obama?
Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument [...]

Friday Feast #191

Jo -

Appetizer
What is the nearest big city to your home?
Montgomery, AL
Soup
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how well do you keep secrets?
Oh them darned secrets.  I would say 8.   But anyone that knows me face to face for any length of time knows what I know, the SGM knows too.   (But then he [...]

Fred has a Blog

Trelaina -

Fred Thompson has found a spot on Townhall.com. I hope we hear quite a bit of his solid conservative thinking between now and the election…
…and I hope John McCain reads it.

Misery Loves Company

Jo -

Too bad GW Bush doesn’t fit the Misery or Company mold.
See, when Ronald Reagan (R) took over Washington from Jimmy Carter (D), the country’s Misery Index was at 20.76.  By 1982, it had dropped to 15.87 and was 9.57 when Reagan left office in 1988.
Clinton (D) took over from GHW Bush (Rino) with Misery at 10.52 [...]

Why the Government?

Jo -

She also taught hard work before reward.
So is this why I have such a hard time understanding why people are so willing to turn over their lives to a [...]

Hagee Apologizes

Jo -

Wonder if Rev. J. Wright would have the backbone to do this?

Evangelical leader John Hagee, one of John McCain’s highest-profile supporters from the religious right, has apologized for comments he made that were offensive to Catholics.
In a letter Monday to Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Civil and Religious Rights, Hagee wrote, “I [...]

Priceless

Jo -

  Gateway Pundit …
This may be a pro-Hillary ad (a dig to the current President is at the front and back), but its powerful anyway.
Obama … B. Hussein Obama … Barrack Hussein Obama …

Is this really what this country needs as a leader?

Hurting at the Pump

Jo -

So how are you doing in this up and down world of gas pries controlled by oil barons in Saudi (remember the home of the 9/11 terrorist)?
My driving habits have changed that’s for sure - and even though I can get 19 to 22 miles a gallon in my VUE, I stop and think before [...]
