Week END Wrap

Welcome to the weekend! What have you got planned? I have my bi-monthly trip to the beauty shop to get my nails filled in and then - nothing really planned. Go with the flow I guess.

Went to the doctor Tuesday for my regular, 4 month, check-up. Diabetics tend to see their doctors a lot more than healthier folks. My A1C was down to 6.3 from 7.0 My cholesterol is still high, 241, but down from 296. Now how did it go down without medication? I don’t know for sure, but I gave up fried chicken (groan) and added 1000 mg of Flaxseed oil daily. Only thing I did. Since I couldn’t take the Lipitor, he gave me Crestor to try for a month and see if I can tolerate it. I really don’t want to take it, but I will. He did put me on blood pressure medication too. ::: sigh ::: getting old sucks!

The political arena sure is getting really bloody out there on the liberal side isn’t it? More and more people are talking politics too. For all the wrong of the far left candidates we have, it has gotten the country involved. People are paying attention now. Yes - some people will vote for Hillary only because she’s a woman and some people will vote for Barrack Hussein Obama only because he’s black, but I am getting the feeling more and more people are finding out that BHO isn’t what he plays to be- and that is good for us. See, Hillary is a known liar and cheat and hater of all things United States - Obama is an unknown and the more we find out, the more looks like sour apples and Muslim type hatred buried under those expensive, elitist suits.
