Week END Wrap Up

Saturday, 23 February 2008, 7:37

04_03_2_prev.jpgCRAZY week around these parts! Starting with last Sunday, my hosting service had a DNS issue and the site was down for most of the day.  But Jo, you say, You don’t post on Sundays?  No, I don’t but I had been surfing with Blog Explosion, so how do you think people thought when they hit a blank page?

I’m going to try out a new hairdresser today.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.  I like having “all” my work done in one shop.  Where I had been going since we moved here in 2001 closed, but I followed my nail lady to her new shop.   My hairdresser went to another shop, but there you have the issue of having to go to two different places.  So I’m going to gut it out today and let one of the ladies at the new shop take a wack (ugh) at cutting my hair.

Work was also crazy busy this week – but I love my job, crazies and all.  We bought a new printer for the house and I was able to get it step up to use all three computers wirelessly.

The political world has offically gone off the deep end.  Michelle Obama says she’s “finallyproud of this country and now is trying to spin it to what shemeant“!?  Deary aren’t you schooled at Harvard and Princeton AND a lawyer?  Now I’s don’t haves no college degree on my wall — but I know how to say what I mean and mean what I say.  You meant every damn calculated word you said that day Mrs. BHO … lying just makes you out to be like the rest of the liberal dimwits out there.

Is the New York Times turning to tabloid news to get its readership back and increase its stock?  The no-substance hit piece on John McCain ranks right up there with the trash magazines at the check out claiming they found Elvis at the 711.   John McCain is raking in the $$ because of it now – so the old Grey Lady is an old grey duck.  Backfired didn’t it?

And speaking of John McCain, or more about Cindy McCain … has anyone noticed how she looks at him when he’s talking?  Think Nancy Reagan and Laura Bush.  You can see the love for their husbands in their faces.  Cindy has class, and has always been proud of her country Michelle.

On to the wrap-up:

Have a great weekend See you Monday.

I realize the smilies aren’t working. My hosting service had to manually upgrade to wp 2.3.3 and I lost that plug in temporarily.
