Friday's Feast

Appetizer
How many times per day do you usually laugh?

Oh my I’ve never counted really, but I do laugh a lot. Not because I think life is funny (although if you look really hard, there is a lot going on around you that is just plain funny)

Soup
What do your sunglasses look like?

They are prescription, simple black frames - nothing Britney Spears.

Salad
You win a free trip to anywhere on your continent, but you have to travel by train. Where do you go?

Considering that by train would be the bonus to the trip, I’d start out in my home state of Alabama and travel to Maine, then down to the Kentucky Blue grass, then over to the Grand Canyon.

Main Course
Name one thing you consider a great quality about living in your town/city.

We actually live outside the town on my address. The best part is the sub-division is tucked off a main road so you don’t hear any traffic around you. We’ve actually sat on our front porch on a Saturday afternoon and listened to the birds sing. No boom-boxes on wheels, sirens, etc. AND we’re 20 minutes from work and everything else we need.

Dessert
If the sky could be another color, what color do you think would look best?

Nah - let’s leave it what God decided was best.

I remember an old movie from years back called ‘Continental Divide’. They take this trip from Chicago to Wyoming… with scenery you just don’t get from the interstate.

Besides that, I just like train rides, lol!

Before I knew him, the husband worked for Amtrak. I love train rides! I took our son on a train ride from Boston to Portland, Maine one summer when the husband was working in Portland. Then we took it back to Boston when our visit was over. We flew back to Houston from there. It was great. I wanted our son to have a train experience.
