WeekEnd Wrap Up

What a blessing Saturdays are. I don’t care how many days off you take during the week, the ones you do work feel twice as hard. Sure you could work on Christmas Eve and Day, but no one else is and you couldn’t get much done (at least in my industry). So we all faked wanting to be there instead of home with our new toys and made it again to the end of the week.

And what a week this has been around the world. The death of a former leader captured the news headlines for the past few days, and could very well continue on into the next weeks and months. Ol’ coward Bin Ladin (who probably had Bhutto killed, or ordered it) is supposedly going to submit another tape for his library. The news people are all a twitter about it, in between showing the riots and morning in Pakistan.

So from my Google Reader ( which I do share on the sidebar under “Suggested Reading” ), I have found the following:

  1. You know… we all want our media to be straight up with us but sometimes, it seems like they celebrate a pot of Bin Laden’s spit as much as they do Britanny Spears or Paris Hilton.

I guess it kind of bothers me that they (the MSM) seem to have adopted Bin Laden as a celebrity instead of a murdering lunatic.

I’d give my left… big toenail (for lack of the better choice) if somebody would just kill this guy and bring his skin back to hang on a flagpole. I am just so sick of this guy living while so many good people have died.

  2. The list of politicians on the corrupt list is interesting. Pelosi is a pig.

Happy New Year, Jo. Hug your hubby and thank him again for me.

  3. thanks Jo!..HAPPY NEW YEAR FULL OF LOVE AND LAUGHTER!...
