Someone Needs a Nap

by Jo | December 10th, 2007

The Global Warming crowd has officially fallen off its rocker and is now in need of a straight-jacket and a nap:

Having babies is bad for the planet, and parents of more than two children should be charged a birth levy and annual tax to offset the “greenhouse gases” their child will be responsible for over his or her lifetime.

At the same time, those who use and prescribe contraceptives and sterilization procedures should earn tax relief for such greenhouse friendly services” that help to keep the population size down.

These proposals, by an Australian academic, were published in the country’s leading medical journal on Monday. They drew a sharp response from a pro-family group.

These people are like baaing sheep running off a cliff. This ding-dong won’t have kids to help save the planet, but I bet doesn’t walk to her vacation destinations!

Of course it doesn’t help that you have Al Snore out there flying around in his private jet hither and yon - and you damn well know he hasn’t missed a meal in a while (neither has Tipper, but then I’d just be being a bitch then wouldn’t I?); and what is up with his mansion in Tennessee?

People people people!!! Let’s slow down here and think about this. There is too much information out there either way to dig through. I have no problem with trying to “save the planet” from its ever expanding population, but come on - stop having children? Have they stopped to think what would happen in a few hundred years?

(Listening for an answer)

Didn’t think so.

Go take a nap.

  1. I’ve finally heard it all now…

  2. Save the planet by outbreeding those denizens fo teh Arab world who think their ways are just hunky-dory! If we don’t outnumber them, it is that much hrder from turning the rest fo the world into deserts too.

  3. If THEY want to stop having children, they have my blessing and my support. It just means no young minds for them to warp, and their ideas don’t get passed to another generation.
