Outlook 2003 Help

December 6th, 2007 · 1 Comment · The Owner

We use Outlook 2003 at work.  (I have no control over it, so don’t slam my comments with “use XXX instead”. )

I am in and out of my contacts to mail so many times during the day it would make your head spin.   What I’m trying to find out, and have Googled and searched, is there a way to open a second session of email just to keep my contacts open to?

I want to be able to just flip to a window with my contacts and not have to keep clicking on the mail to contacts to mail to contacts icons on the left.   I really wish I could detach the contacts while the mail is open, but I think I’d be asking too much of a Microsoft product there.

If you have any idea if this can be done, your help is most appreciated.

Found the answer. Right click on the icon for the contacts, or other things like the calendar, and “Open in New Window”.
