Friday's Feast

Appetizer
What was your first “real” job?

I grew up in Southern MN and lived on a farm, so my first real (paying) job was farm work.  I worked on a crew that walked corn fields and detassled the new corn stalks.

Soup
Where would you go if you wanted to spark your creativity?

Depends on what I want to create.  Let’s say I am stuck on a blog post - I go read other blogs.

Salad
Complete this sentence: I am embarrassed when…

… someone cuts me down in front of others and I don’t have a response.

Main Course
What values did your parents instill in you?

Mom said we had to earn what we wanted - so she did teach us work was necessary and stuff wouldn’t just be given to us.  She also taught me that intolerance and lies can harm more than physical attacks.

Dessert
Name 3 fads from your teenage years.

Oh lord - you want me to remember “THAT” far back this early in the morning?

1.  Bell Bottoms
2.  Mooning
3. (I have no clue!)
