Did you ever think you knew someone and then wham bam, they do something so out of the blue it questions your whole relationship with them? Happened to several of us this week from my work place. Former co-worker went to work for someone we just knew they wouldn’t — until this week. Kind of makes you rethink all the things they told you, did they honestly mean the nice things they said about you too? Geez — we all wear masks to a point, but for someone that doesn’t trust easy - this one stung a bit. But — bless their little heart — I wish them well.
Let’s look around and see what else was going on besides California Burning and the Liberals using only 1 brain cell when talking about it.

I know exactly what you mean in your post. That happened to me twice in my life. Two people, two different work situations and I just sat there shocked not knowing what to say. Then I wished them well but it made my stomach feel sick for awhile when I thought I had believed all they had said. sigh
