So the Georgia Governor has asked for a Federal declaration of disastor due to the water shortage problem while California is using too much water to put out fires that should be left to burn the state to the ground and THEY get the declaration of disaster?

Thanks a lot GW.

  1. I am more than a little concerned at how long it is taking Washington to respond to Georgia’s plea for the declaration. It could lead one to think it could go either way and that in itself is a tragedy…

  2. I know my post sounds cold toward the people in CA, but I’m sure they aren’t (and never would) give a royal rip what goes on over her in NASCAR country, so I really don’t care what happens to them. We need the water they are dumping on the fires to save the rich — and Fox News hardly talks about anything else. Saying the people in CA are in “hell” .. please — we could only hope they go that direction!

  3. I know, I know! I feel the same way, Jo. What about the fact that Lake Lanier is (and falling) below where it should be!! The lake is about to dry up (with millions going thirsty) and nobody cares about them. They only care about the privileged whose houses are burning down (Malibu, Pasadena, San Diego, Lake Arrowhead). To Fox News, even some people in some podunk country in Africa getting sick from eating a diseased, dead dog is more important than the draft in Georgia!

  4. Oops…I bolded too much in that last post!

and that should have been drought, not “draft”!

  5. Lord Eric — I’ll fix this later LOL …. but just glad you stopped by!
