What do you consider the ideal age to have a first child?

Ah, well - since I’ve never had or wanted children … am I even qualified to answer this? Well, okay, I will. I don’t think it’s so much age but life experience that should come into play. I’ve met some 20 somethings that are the most solid thinking people and have their life plans all mapped out and are moving toward their goals. Then I’ve met some people in their 50’s that don’t have enough sense to walk across the street and chew bubble gum at the same time. Didn’t really answer did I?
