Rove made the announcement in an interview in Monday’s issue of The Wall Street Journal.

“I just think it’s time,” he says. “There’s always something that can keep you here, and as much as I’d like to be here, I’ve got to do this for the sake of my family.” Mr. Rove says.

I just wish these people would come up with a different reason than “spending time with family”. It’s a clear message that they’re leaving for another reason.
Hadn’t thought of him joining a campaign though. Interesting…..

From what I understand, Josh Bolton put his foot down and told them all that if they were still around at the end of the Labor Day Holiday, they had to stay until the Administration left office. I still think Rove is going to show up at someone’s campaign headquarters.
