Finally — Justice in this freak-show out of N.C.
The North Carolina State Bar charged Nifong with breaking several rules of professional conduct, including lying to both the court and bar investigators and withholding critical DNA test results from the players’ defense attorneys.
The committee, after deliberating for a little more than an hour, unanimously agreed with the bar on almost every charge — including the most serious allegations — that Nifong’s actions involved “dishonesty, fraud, deceit and misrepresentation.”
It just came over Fox News that he has been disbarred.

I watched with relief as the decision was made on Fox. I blogged about it in today’s post, too. What a mess. Those students are tarnished for life simply because Nifong wanted to continue in office and the black community fell for it hook, line and sinker.

Hubby says its time they prosecute him now. What stunned me while listening to this also was that no one in his office ever came out and said anything about what he was doing.
