Jo's Cafe

The SGM is going through the retirement process and part of it is filing with the VA for his disability.  They sure ask some odd questions.  Can you explain to me why my previous marriage has anything to do with the SGMs current situation?  Yup – had to try and remember the date of the marriage and then the divorce.   Are you kidding me?  I can’t even remember the idiots middle name.  (snort)  I’m sure there is a valid reason, but it escapes me.   We fudged as close to events as possible. 

We did get some rain this weekend from TS Barry enough to pull the smoke out of the air, but that’s it.  Back to watering the lawn on odd days, from 10pm to 10am.  People talk about the cost of gas … please … the water we get around here is called “Smith Station Gold” because it costs an arm and a leg to water your lawns.  

And in the “Who Gives a Rip” Department – Beth Twitty and John Ramsey are supposedly “dating”.  This is not real news people – it’s gossip.
