So poor ‘ittle Paris Hilton has to go to jail for breaking the law.  Baawwaaa  – cry me a river please.

As I understand it, Ms. Hilton was adjudicated in court for a drunk driving charge, receiving probation.   Part of the sentence suspended her drivers’ license. Standard for alcohol related charges in this country.    She since was caught driving; thus violating her probation.

Now can someone explain to me why someone so frackin’ rich for doing nothing but walking around in skimpy clothes cannot afford to hire a car to take her places for the time she is not suppose to drive?   And I do not believe her claim of not knowing how long her license was suspended.  Give me a rich frackin’ break.

The rich believe they are above the law, and if her appeal goes through and her sentence is suspended, she will have learned nothing.  We all know those with money can hire the best defense attorney’s.  I saw it when I worked in the legal community.   The poor are given free attorney’s that come from a pool and may not really care about their client because they don’t make any money.  Their fee is set by the court.  Yet I’ve seen the poorer defendants work hard at completing their required sentence and move forward.  The rich do not want to pay for their crimes.   This is a fault of our society who uplift those with money and reject those that don’t.

Personally, I gives a damn what happens to Paris and her ilk.   Forty-five days in jail (probably reduced to 22 with time and a half credit) would serve her better than anything.

I hope she does the perp walk.  Her reality show “The Simple Life” will not have prepared her for this and just maybe she might learn something from it more than any other event in her life.
