Coincedentally, I ran across this quiz right after filling out Jo’s “bitchy” one below

What’s funny is, having lived in North Carolina for 30 years, people really DON’T believe me when I say I’m from New York! I figure that’s because I tend to pick up the accent of people around me. So, when I’m at work surrounded by that southern “mountain” accent we have here, I tend to copy it

Northeastern.
You’re probably from somewhere near New York City, possibly north Jersey, or Connecticut or Rhode Island. If you are from New York City you may be one of the types who people never believe when you say you’re from New York.
