Trump vs Rosie
Okay folks, for the first few days this was funny.
Go Trump!
But its getting out of hand now.
I remember Rosie when she was doing stand-up and was funny. That was in her thinner, wearing make-up because “I’m a girl” days. (I have a nasty streak in me that says every women can afford to use a bit of make-up, but that is for another post).
Her liberal leanings not-withstanding, Rosie hasn’t been funny in a long time. She has let herself go, physically, and it seems she has an inner ugliness now and it is starting to show on the outside.
Several callers to talk-radio shows I listen to have worked with her before on various shows [they say] and have claimed she was forced to wear earrings and make-up on said shows. Some even indicated how mean spirited she is and that amazingly she is a good actor since everything in front of the camera, ie: smiling face, etc, is an act.
I don’t like Rosie. I admire Trump.
I am so glad someone finally has not buckled under the mean, hate-filled attacks Rosie uses and is fighting back.
But can we send this to the history files please?
Enough is enough already.

I mostly side with you Jo, but I feel Trump has turned into a sad shadow of himself. (let me say before I go any further, I have no feelings for Rosie one or the other, I hardly acknowledge her existence.)
Trump gets unhappy with his Miss USA for underage drinking in clubs.
Rosie makes a comment, as is her job, on it saying that he is no moral authority considering his history of affairs.
Trump calls her names, comments on her appearance, and meanwhile kicks out Miss Nevada for partying (um…Miss USA gets another chance, but not Miss Nevada? 0_o) and makes odd comments about “stealing ” Rosie’s life partner.
Name calling? Rosie’s not innocent in this, but Trump could have certainly taken the high road in all this…and then his entire family gets in on it? Not to mention he is now calling Barbara Walters a liar.
Both sides are nuts in this, but Trump is coming off just plain old loony in my viewpoint.
