Government Run, Controlled Healthcare
What does that mean for me?
It means that I no longer will be allowed to choose my own doctor. I will be forced to go to someone who does not care how they treat me, or if I’m receiving the right treatment – because they will get paid either way.
I will not be allowed to use a pharmacy that is convenient for me. No, I will be forced to rely on the United States Postal service to deliver my medications in a timely fashion. I will not be allowed to pre-order my medications as I need them, but the agency in charge of refills will send them out on a schedule, no matter if I am out or not. So in a disaster, I will not have been able to stock pile any medications for emergencies and I will rely on them deliver to me vital medicine to keep me alive. Remember Katrina? You expect me to feel comfortable with that?
I am a thyroid patient on Armour Thyroid. This medication is hard to get prescribed because it is not a “preferred” medication for treatment of my condition by most brain washed doctors who refuse to treat their patients outside the box. I will therefore be forced to go back to a medication I am allergic to and not allowed to be treated with a medication that has proven itself to be a benefit to my life.
Additionally, somone in an office in Boca Raton, FL, barely out of high-school is going to determine what medications I’m allowed to have, if I can have a surgery or not, or if I am even allowed to go see a doctor in my area and not the one 100 miles away 3 times a week.
Think I’m making this shit up?
Who do you think has been treating military families and retirees all along?
The government.
When hubby retires, I will be paying a penalty to my insurance company to put him on my policy so he can go see my doctor and receive good, caring treatment – not the above.
Thank You America!
