Diabetic Gripes
Amy Tenderich from Diabetes Mine has a great article at Diabetes Health titled “Top 10 Patient Gripes” from October 2006.
Instead of going through and pulling quotes, I’m simply going to link to it for you and you go read it. If you don’t have diabetes it may help you understand better what we are going through. If you are the diabetic, there are some great ideas in here to help you deal.
Jo’s Morning BG: 107 — took 15 mgs of Actos, which I hate to do but keep on hand. If my morning sugar is over 100, I take one. I think it was the Captains D’s last night – or the fact I had severely interrupted sleep last night. Who knows – I can’t worry about it, just repair and move on. A high BG once in a while is not cause for panic for me anymore.
