Well, I was born in the north, and we moved to NC when I was six. But, I was raised by lifelong New Yorkers. Heck, I don't think they've spent half their lives in the south yet. So, I had very strong influences, especially in terms of language. However, I'm the only one in my family who eats barbeque and drinks sweet tea LOL. True.
