Survivor: Cook Islands
Stranded on the Cook Islands in the heart of the South Pacific, 20 strangers must live together and compete for the million-dollar prize. Who will outwit, outplay, and outlast all others? Don’t miss a single episode of SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS, premiering Thursday, September 14 at 8 pm ET/PT, only on CBS.
There has been a lot of uproar about the “dividing” of the teams for this season – by race.
So where was the uproar last year when they were divided by age?
Mark Burnett isn’t so dumb folks — the controversy brings the curious and the curious watch, boosting rates.

No arguments here Jo. Burnett is a mastermind at this sort of stuff. I love the people condemning this as re-enforcing sterotypes when they haven’t even seen one episode yet.
